What do others listen to when they are busting-out code? I need some degree of inattention to properly function, whether it's lack of sleep, white-noise, or some type of ambient music. Being wide-awake with silence only reveals how uninterested I am in whatever it is I am coding, and so nothing gets done.
I usually can't listen to non-ambient music without becoming too distracted by it and the lyrics and whatnot. In general I'll just let the Mechwarrior, Frozen Synapse, and inMomentum soundtracks randomly play and loop in the background, maybe sometimes with a few extra bits and pieces like some NiN and Delerium and a few others. But game soundtracks tends to be the best type of ambient music to code to.
I'm looking to expand my music / sounds to code to and curious for decent time-tested leads, if any...
Actual white noise is a little harsh, but apps with rain sounds seem to be conducive to getting into the zone. i'm curious about more stuff like that which others give a thumbs-up to.
(p.s. not interested in hearing about script kiddies listening to taylor swift while they figure-out what an int is. seriously, just don't.)

Congratulations ScalaFX for coming out of the closet!
