The gold stops on the first resistance of 1420 with a rebound. At this point, the two corrective legs from the lows of 1337 are equal in wideness. Exceeding this level would give a further boost up to 1470, a resistance on which sellers will be back heavily on the market. The Adx above 40 confirms the strength of the downtrend and puts the 20-days moving average as a benchmark on which we should enter short on gold

Fail to see that gold would go so low before rebound. Sl triggered but live to fight another day.

A bearish engulfing pattern on Friday in the closure for AudUsd. We will see if 1.0150 will be able to stem the fall or if we are at the beginning of a trend reversal.

I think will see retest of 1425 arena this evening/tomorrow. Once 1405 is solidified as base, she will start to gain more momentum and it is slowly grinding higher through MA's on the 4hr and 1hr charts. Solid close on Friday shows shorts are still covering their positions from the large fall from previous week. As this continues, those late to cover will be FORCED to close pushing gold to near 1475 by end of this week. I would like to see a solid hold above 1405-1415, before pressing higher to the upper 1400 range.

Weekly closure for AudJpy with a perfect zigzag correction. Wave A equal to wave C at 102.80. We’ll see if the downtrend of AudJpy will start on Monday.

I think silver is a deal at these levels. As gold presses up to test 1450s, silver will pop up as well, ere go my longs in both, patience pays.

The weekly $GLD chart has a verry nice bottoming tail so maybe we can see a a bounce in the coming week.

I think psychology will prevail. Not saying gold won't go up, but I think because "we" expect it to go up it will fight you along the way.

hey bro - thanks again for sharing that article! I also have noticed some potential over the past few days for yen and gold/silver movements - esp since the bombings in the states..

dont think much in it as when I look past those dates it doesnt seem to flow the same but thought would share non the less..

Ha no problem bro. FF is a unique place, and I like to share resources and thoughts. The great, but sometimes difficult, thing about the market is that it is constantly changing. Yen may be interesting. Although long-term may play out bullish, I think it will grind. I am not a big fan of carry trades unless I get a nice swap, and yen may be tricky. Tell your Geppy friends not to get tooo complacent :-p
