I am trading for over 20 years, and I can assure you, markets are not manipulated. Even thinking that way prevents you to see the true balance of supply and demand and is going to kill any speculator (cause that's what we all are at heart, even though some prefer to call themselves snobbishly 'investors'). BTW I just bought some gold at 1441.75. I am going to get rid of that by tonight, at latest by tomorrow.

what I think is they are planning to bring back GOLD price to realities which is around 900$

some of the biggest trader in here still believe gold price can touch 1380s. however from consumer/retail market, we already see an increase on retail sales since last saturday and today (Indonesia). Most people queuing to get gold physically, people rushing to the jewellry shop to buy gold bars. In fact, they are out of stock even they sell it above market price which is around 1615/ounce (with certificate from government owned precious metal refinery company) ~ 1480/ounce (Locals gold without certificate) and 1520/ounce (certificate from other countries).

In my opinion regardless technical chart, we might see an slowing decreasing gold price since retail consumers are willing to buy at this moment. European and American sell gold, asian retail try to support gold price and we wait until big asian institutions to buy gold.

It looks that during Asian session it fell as well. I am thinking about poor men, who bought physical gold at about 1800-1900 on the advice of well-known advisers.

This is a battle between physical and paper gold.
The paper gold may be pointing to 1380 but the physical gold is a different story. Of course if you follow comment on this forum, all comment will be pointing gold down. In fact this look more like panic selling.
How about change a different perspective and find out what the physical gold buyers are saying from other forum and resources at the very moment of price dropping. The physical gold price is not dropping and there are selling at great premium over the paper gold price. Some gold seller even pulled the plug and don't wan to sell at all. SO the buyer cannot buy and seller don't want to sell.
The difference between the paper and physical are going to get ugly and will end in disaster with 1 side winning the battle.
Looking at the Comex warehouse stock, the gold physical stocks are dropping very fast. Conventional wisdom will say when supply drop and demand went up (or sideways), the price goes up. Or is it?
So who is going to win the battle? Food for thought!

I think the bears' claws might hold back for a bit now, possibly until 1463/83 - but that's just a reasonable guess.

wow....drop till 1402 on my chart.
Anyway, Cyprus bank selling gold will not be on the market. It will be between central banks only.
