It's impossible to trade when a popup is continuously taking over your screen. The author (I paid for this EA which gives trade signals only via the alert facility -- it was not cheap!) replied to just turn the whole thing off by unclicking "Live Trade" which makes the whole thing inoperative -- but they didn't offer to refund the amount I paid. Otherwise I was highly impressed with their manual, but am now totally shocked at the code they provided to go with the manual.
The alert was also supposed to sound an audible alarm, but it never did that. Maybe I am lucky that it didn't. I think I would be satisfied if it just allowed me to check manually what was the last alert, and then stop popups once more. But for sure putting out continuous alerts to the screen is no good.
As an aside, it also appeared to be giving very bad signals -- for example I would have bought a pair that it was telling me to sell. Later I was proved right. And I saw this many places. There is no way that the alerts I saw were properly produced accourding to normal technical analysis. So maybe I just have to write this off as another bad experience. But it is very disappointing, as the manual is fantastically good.
