I do like fast and furious bear markets

If 1750 gives way on XAU - what's the next hurdle? Sorry no charts at work but manually trailing my stop on the phone app.

No one can ever be sure of anything. But what does the price behaviour and momentum look like to you?

Looking at your charts can you see any previous support or other reasons for this level to hold?

Looks Like it cant Turn anytime UP or DOWN.Last time I opened short on 1760 cca it turns up...and I lost more..

Please don't take offence from this but I recommend you don't put on any more live positions and stop trading live until you either:

1. Develop a method/system to make consistent profits yourself
2. Give your money to someone else to trade for you.

Following calls and asking what to do on forums is no way to try and make money. If you choose option 1 (which I hope you do) there are plenty of good people in this thread who I'm sure will be more than willing to help you.

First and foremost I'd focus on preservation of capital before building it and make every loss a learning opportunity.

looks like 1750 will be holding ?

hope it does. i need to make profit on my long position....

it can fall after that if it wishes, once i have made my profit ...!

i aint got a clue why iam entering longs when the market is falling !

silly me.....need to get over this bullish trading mentality.

im waiting to see if it drops more to go long and buy a few lots

cant upload my charts but they were pointing me to possible 1733

i want to clarify that long i see gold breaking 2k easily but i see bearish trend for now

whats happening today. the markets are collapsing everywhere. entire range is collapsing...gold, gu, eu, brent, dow jones..., the whole lot.

its a disaster everywhere.


i got a text from a friend yesterday who is a trader, he suggested i buy the dow jones. i looked at the charts and said there is no way iam buying the dow jones. good thing i didnt. the dow jones has fallen - 265 points so far today ! would have been slaughtered if i had bought it.


no matter what others say i always stick to my own judgement and decide for myself. and it usually pays off.

I will observe to see if 1,745 comes into play. If so...
~1,720 becomes a Target & then ~1,690.

That's where I will get Really interested.

i see short term bearish, dont worry, im no blind 'bull'

but long term, lets say a few months from now, i see gold as a sure bet

i wish i could drill that into my clients head. he trades every good news (for gold) without consulting technical analysis. it would have been ok but his fundamental analysis is based on.... "i feel it's going to go higher this time"
