Don't do much USD/JPY analysis but would be happy to make a chart if you like.

Interesting long term thoughts you have on gold. And --- although a test of 1080 area would have been the ultimate low before very serious,
chart damage were to occur, I personally think it would have happened already. The summer is ending soon and if the price continues to retake old supports and
make new highs, then I would venture to say we are not going to see it any time in the near future.

On the case of strong rejection @ 1550/1600 maybe a chance, yet, at these prices it would actually make it more unlikely due to the need for an almost 600 USD per oz decline.

Might try using a condensed weekly line chart for this.

Also your UPTREND LOWER LINE on the gold chart is INVALID. If you are going to use a ten year period and add two completely speculative years,
you most certainly need to draw this line from at least 2000 and then on. As they change the further back and further forward you go.

thank you for comments.sorry for my english. i'm using usdjpy chart in order to have some clue about dollar's power.you can use usd index too, for me usdjpy is clearer. indeed my target at gold is not 1512,1272,1078 or 884, my target is usdjpy 110-115, when we come nearer to 110 level, I will check charts once again and i will start buying silver step by step.only silver.

There is to many resistance line there
i think we will see 1350-1330 a good chance to buy again

The last time we saw 9 consecutive bullish daily closes in silver was in August 2009, where we got 11 consecutive bullish daily closes, and went from 13.50 to 17.50 before any pullback


I'm looking at 24.25 for a TP, as well as 25.75.


If we get above there I'll be strongly bullish heading for 35 again.
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

macd also showing some divergence don't be greedy for buy first must wait for pullback may b deep one before going up.

your chart is almost unreadable but i would be wary about trying to discern divergence from the last hourly bar of the trading week. from what i can see (not much admittedly) there is barely any divergence and if anything the macd bars are rising again.... given the often somewhat frisky start to the trading week i would suggest giving it a few bars to settle down....
but what do i know

USD/CHF is also a great pair to look at the dollar's strength

I see a bullflag broken,

going down to H ONE.

Now we should see some delivery.

They key with gold and silver is not one sided any more.

There are many factors at hand. a topic for later.

In any case major support @ 1350.

interim target 1400 to 1425

Longer term, say weekly target up is 1550 to 1600 pushing it a bit.

TO the downside we would need to see a breach of 1550 and 1546 confirmed and rejected to look for lower pricing.

In essence it's not sooo complicated. Use simple S/R levels and trend lines for your stops.
SMAs help as well.

THE FLAG POLE is appx 50 USD residing @ 1370 high to 1320 appx low, thus off of 1360 we want a desired move north of 50 USD
which would equal a completion of the H1 flag @ 1410.
