Hello All,
Before Going any further, And you have no Idea what Pouria is about, please fallow this link: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=17011
Below is the Pouria EA Beta. It has not yet tested on live market and has not yet been optimized. The purpose of this thread is to find any bugs in the program as well as find the best settings for the EA.
OK, so first let me explain how the EA works because I programmed it according to my interpretation of The Pouria Method which you may disagree with.
The EA take the signals generated from both the MACD and the MA with equal weight. For example MACD crosses below zero then moves back up, and MA is also signals up it will take a buy position, same with with MA when MA cross Up and MACD points to the same direction it will take a Buy trade. So as long as both indicators agree when either one crosses the signal line it will take the trade. (I attached Chart Image below to better illustrate this)
So here are the external variables:
---------- Pouria EA Beta
MagicNumber = Set Magic Number to whatever lucky number you desire
StopLoss = Set Initial Stoploss Level
TakeProfit = Set TP Level
BreakEvenAfterPips = Move The SL to breakeven after this number in pips is reached, Set to Zero to disable
ConfirmedOnEntry = if set to true EA will open trade after close of the candle; if false EA will open trade as soon as there is a signal
---------- Order Setting
NumberOfTries = Number of tries EA will attempt to open a trade, just leave as default
Slippage = Set Slippage value depending on your broker
---------- Money Management
Lots = Amount in lots you want to trade. EA will use this value if MM is false
MM = Use Money Management or not
AccountIsMicro = Use Micro-Account or not
Risk = Percent of free margin to risk per trade, MM must be set to true
---------- Alert Setting
EnableAlert = set to true if you want to be alerted every time EA makes a trade
So that's It, Pls Play around with the EA and look for the Optimal settings for each pair then post it here. That is your Job because I'm quite lazy when it comes to optimization. When we have found the best settings we can then integrate those values to the code so that everyone(including noobs) can profit from this EA.
Thats it! Enjoy!
Mikhail
