Been wading through all the info on forex brokers. Let me begin by saying that forex factory is by far the most informative site i've found. People are candid about their experiences and appear to be well informed. After dredging through all the testimonials it makes me wish i had been hip to this years ago and started my own bucket shop. Omg what a license to steal lol.
Anyways i'm looking to start building a track record for an automated strategy that runs off of Ninja Trader, it could also run off a Expert Advisor enabled Meta Trader broker. At this point in the initation of live testing i'd like to go as small as possible aka $1000 positions. While I realize that there may be some reputable dealing desks out there the main thing that makes me weary of trading with them is their ability to break and reprice trades. This possibilty would be almost imposible to account for in a fully automated unattended strategy. So that leaves me with ECN based brokers as the only real choice.
From what i've garnered so far MB Trading is my best bet. While they have relatively high commissions and high swap rates, they do at least scale. So with a $1000 position i'd have $.05 commission and $.027 per point per day swap costs.
Are there anyother ECN brokers I should look at considering i'm gonna fund the account with $1000?
Out of curriosity once i reach the $50,000 posiition size and working with Interactive Brokers becomes advantageous how much better are my swaps gonna be?
