Money printing machine!!! When the Kumo becomes thin and a green arrow appears and a text message sounds, enter a buy or sell position and stay in the position until a red or blue arrow appears in the opposite direction.Just pay attention to the present, not the past, as the arrows change! Because the numbers change.

Quick update on this Gann Square thingy .
Been chipping away at it in my spare time. Come up with this so far that replicates the rules laid out..
This has variables of chart time frames and Price type for LTP..
Also created an EA to test with multiple variables.. Actually better than I expected.

But like you said, very hard to get an across the board indicator. Probably wont go down that rabbit hole as I dont need to..

Anyhoo.. Still a work in progress, This is AUDUSD yesterday. As you can see I like simple..

I want to change the colour of some useless lines on an indicator from --- clrRed to None --- to make it easier for me

I tried clrNone-- None-- no good
looked up the MQL4 colours but they don't show a - None
can someone advise please how I go about it to get None
or
how can I make the lines disappear easily other than changing the colour

needless to say I have nil knowledge of MQl4 other than around the edges

You're incredibly close, it's just a spelling/capitals thing, good attempt to check the documentation on colors to see none isn't there.
When in the editor if you start typing in clr..N... the autocomplete will show the clrN- options, where you can see none is all capitalized-

But, for some objects clrNONE results in black, so in such case we need to use the chart background color.
And then, we can't get rid of the visuals completely, because if there is an overlapping filled rectangle, for example, we still see the lines.
If you can do this programatically, it's best to do:

If possible i would like to ask someone to code an indicator that shows the average custom candle of a specific period .
More specific the average h1 candle from 8 until 10 o clock averaging for example x(15 candles ) of this time.

Form 8 (included) to 10 (included) there are 3 H1 candles, not 15...
I don't think anybody understands what you want???
Do you want:
- an average price of High prices,
- an average price of Open prices,
- an average price of Low prices,
- an average price of Close prices,
and build a visual candle out of these???
Or what???

Hello all, I have a system that I'm requesting to be made into an EA. Manually it has a winning rate of 70% for Gold (1 min) and around 65% for forex pairs in 5 mins.

I have tried coding using ChatGPT but it does not work. I'm a no show when it comes to IT issues. Thanks

Below are the parameters:

Must Check Dominant Direction at 1 Hour.
TIME: Forex Pairs - Best at 5 Mins and 15Mins
Metals and Indices: Best at 1 min and 5 Min.
If price is very close to ADR - Skip the pair
Indicators Used

 

  1. Half Trend → Main signal source (Buy/Sell arrows)
  2. EMA 14 (shift 3) → Fast trend
  3. EMA 42 (shift 3) → Slow trend
  4. Parabolic SAR (0.02, 0.2) → Confirmation filter
  5. Williams %R (14) → Momentum filter
  6. RSI (21, Close) → Final trade confirmation


BUY Logic

  1. Half Trend = Buy signal
  2. EMA 14 > EMA 42
  3. Price MUST open and close above Half Trend and Both EMAs
  4. Parabolic SAR below price
  5. Williams %R > –15 (very strong bullish momentum)
  6. RSI > 50 (confirmation → trade valid)


SELL Logic

  1. Half Trend = Sell signal
  2. EMA 14 < EMA 42
  3. Price MUST open and close below Half Trend and Both EMAs
  4. Parabolic SAR above price
  5. Williams %R < –85 (strong bearish momentum)
  6. RSI < 50 (confirmation → trade valid)

I have never heard of RR measured in percents.

Unless the winning rate is 100%, then even 1 losing trade can mean the loss of the whole account.
Win Rate is only meaningful if you can calculate your historical RR.
When you have your historical WR and Profit Factor (RR), then you can calculate your optimal risk per trade.
Also, seeing patterns in history means nothing, too.
Those indicators repaint, so you don't see what actually happened or when it happened.
This means, that you can't make any rational predictions based on what you see in history.

My RR is 1:2.
I used the system to pass Prop firm 2 level evaluation. Due to fear and greed, sometimes I let very good trades to pass and other times I enter trades when I shouldn't . Again I want to minimize my screen time.

But it doesn't work like that.
You see things and ignore other things.
EA can't ignore what you ignore. EA sees every setup which meets the conditions.
And believe me, you don't see all of the setups which met the conditions in real time, but would bring loss.
So, your manual trading may be profitable, but the EA will not be profitable.
