That gap is diabolical.

Thankfully, on-chain DEXes had a mark price of 4050 one second after opening. TP filled by an angel market maker.

Algo buys via ATR move so, it would have been nicer to be long before the gap obviously but i wasnt sure how the weekend would go. Thought it would go short like yourself to be honest. But golds been surprising alot lately.

It may just keep going I mean thats what the algo does measure movement and follow it, if not, its a small stop and will catch the next one.

Statistically since the start of July there is a 70%+ chance on a gap like this it would move to around 4103, whatever atr that works out to, anyways, thats my opening m30 strategy. Maybe this will be the 30% time. Who knows. THe thing with gaps is the atr get pretty big on that one candle so it may not make it to TP, however thats worked into the math same with news events and such you just have to take the gap gain more or pain less. Had some pretty good gains last few times. They were more predictable.

Anyways .. off to the races

Maybe we'll get the, Asia drift....

Oh ya and my motto for this week is, never close early. Especially when risk-free. Always hold.

imo there was no room for a move down so it was an obvious hold. We really struggled to get below the 4040 area towards the end of last week so I think the people holding sells were just guessing. That is to say; even without this news this weekend hold was valid
