Gold is a security asset. War pushes it up, not down. The only reason we're in a downtrend is because a major shift in inflation expectations has led people to sell gold in the short term in place of a yielding asset such as bonds.

See who post prior you, you will see some reasons for that, it can push a little more but bulls are near to kick in again, if for a reversal or a retracement is not up to us as day traders.
Last friday the pattern was similar to 1 july, so caution both sides, already said we are ranging big time, so is a mess zone, something is cooking.

I had 2 positions here to 4002, we can revisit the highs, was the reason i am out already, but still is possible lower prices, london window is pause time more times than not, don't adise to trade now. Wait by NY. Is not a window to trend trading.
