Hmm. Seems like I profit most when i layer in smaller lots compared to when I open a single bigger lot at a time. Is this a bad habit that i should break early?

It depends on why you are layering.
If your layering is part of a system you already wrote down and understand, then that is completely fine.

But if you are layering just because smaller lots feel safer for your brain while you are not fully aware of what you are doing with each add, then that is a different situation. That means the comfort is coming from the lot size, not from the execution.

For me, if I know the move and I know what I am doing, I do not split. I take the full size because the plan is already clear.

But if I choose to layer even when I am confident, it is because my risk tolerance prefers the smaller exposure and I already have a plan for how to add if it goes against me or with me.
That is the point: knowing yourself, your system, and your risk tolerance, not the lot size.
