no I put buy and sell order at same time. why I do this, for me not to predict the movement where market actually will go. Predicting Market, Market Analysis is actually wrong and Dangerous, sometimes you are right, But I am sure most of the time you are wrong. Also SL is wrong, instead Hitting you and kill your order, Hedge make your position more Flexible. even you are wrong once your hedge, eventually you will be right, due to Time

Does this method work in all cases? What if the price doesn't return to the entry zone?

Moved to BE and last target 4629. I'm considering selling if it goes to 4635 and doesn't hold since it still in a range. If it closes above 4635-40 I think next target is 4660-75.
But it's also close to the top of the uptrend channel on 1H TM, so I would be careful buying there! But with gold you never know, it can go higher

In the case of gold, for example, if it breaks a certain price barrier, it will skyrocket and not recover. In this case, this technique should be used when the price is accumulating. I think I will try this technique with a small lot size.

he means, if youre hedged the drawdown is locked, so if you see that the trend is too strong and price wont retrace or you will get margin call if you unhedge. then close all positions you only lose the drawdown

trendy days it won't. But most trading market yes. Pls reqlad the document carfully. 80% market is in raging so you can use this most of the time

Many people are talking about hedging here. Most traders have heard about it but many especially new traders do not really understand how and when to use it. In simple words hedging is a risk management tool not a profit strategy. It is useful only if you know exactly when and how to unlock the trades. Otherwise normal trading with a stop loss is better.
Every trader has their own style but personally I do not recommend hedging for beginners. New traders usually dont know when to enter or exit and hedging needs quick decisions. Most beginners panic when they close one trade and the other trade is still in loss.
Hedging can be useful during high impact news or when the market direction is unclear. Also remember it is not good for small accounts because of high spreads and margin usage. So be careful and dont use hedging regularly without a clear strategy.
There are many ifs and buts in hedging. It is more risky in gold because gold has no fixed limit for moving up or down. In currencies it is easier to manage because their movement is more controlled.
I respect that every trader has their own strategy and they should follow what works best for them.
In my view hedging keeps you stuck in a limited range makes long term trading difficult and may stop you from becoming a disciplined trader.

yes your right. Hedging is risk management tool actually. But it is also profit taking as well
