It can retrace at 1 but believe me is not the level with best probabilitie...
I have many ways to look for a level, today i use other and at the end of the day i was asking what reverse price, because honestly i didn't saw it...
But analizing the day, light come.... People will say is random, i know it isn't.... THEY RESPECT SPECIFIC LEVELS!
Sometimes i don't figure it out or am not applying it...
In our days market is not random and who believes it is is in the wrong path....
You have a weekend to backtest this data, remember is free and nothing to hide... Like windows sessions already explained. But only experience will guide anyone to understand patterns inside patterns, that is not possible to teach. All my patterns are used with confluence not blinded...
People don't need lag indicators if price tell stories in real time...

Finally let's measure Ny breakout correlated with daily close... lol
Or i could say low/close will do it more often than not too, in this case is supported by Ny strong bullish, not just by a normal bullish day...
A bullish day not necessary mean Ny window break...

I would not argue or debate abt this matters....naked or with indi...and no need to argue. I just respect those who naked...bcz i cant!....
Why?
i am "a visual person" is one reason and i using both PA n indi is another.
Basicly indi for add info only....such Divergence, trend strong etc).

Macd divergence below ..last nigh NY before drop....Just an example. My eye trained well with this old indi ...Lol. ( before TV even born)
