1798 region now turning into resistance once again.

With the discovery of a new variant of COVID, I would be expecting gold to be going up but it seems that market expectations are still eyeing FED tapering. Buyers are definitely starting to come in but it doesn't feel strong enough just yet.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

i dont think this can we call reverse HnS but 1810-1814 look like promising TP for today.
looking buy set up at 1790.

We broke out of 1795, current hourly candle making a decent push out of 1798 region and breaking back into 1800. 38.2 retracement currently lies at 1816.17, but I don't really see much there to hold it down.

We could be starting to form a high of some sort with this up move, question is will it be higher than 1877 or will the next low be lower than 1780. Also need to take into account that Dec and Jan are seasonally bullish for Gold. Along with the new COVID variant, we could see gold higher fundamentally if we get some poorer than expected US news next week.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

Hourly candle smacked straight into 1807.91 which was a line of resistance and support that has seen tests back in August throughout September and October. It is starting to look a little overbought on smaller time frames but sometimes gold just wants to go wherever it wants to go even if it is overbought or oversold.

There is still a chance we can even go all the way to 1831-1834. Still curious to see if we are in a bigger up trend or bigger down trend with 1873 and 1761 still intact. Although based on the daily, I would say we are bullish, the recent drop was simply a retracement, and there'd be a good chance we break above 1877 with this coming up move and peek at 1900. Curious to see how the daily bar ends.

Looks like we have some strong rejection at 1807. Friday being Friday. Going to just sit out and enjoy the weekend. No point catching tails that may not bear fruits.

Closed short at 1:2 RR. Almost hit my SL missed by 0.2 pips.
