i tried to correlate gold with S&P500, it did not work

price is above 20 sma on almost all time frames, rsi values are also pretty strong

Got burned yesterday due to mixed data, but technically still at breakeven for the week so not too bad in grand scheme of things.

Today will primarily focus on news.

Bad news - buy to 3579,3600
Good news- Sell to previous low 3525,3512

and yes thats as simple as im keeping it today

I'm not marrying any direction, and while I think we will see a strong pre-news run in a certain direction, I don't know which yet - I'm leaning to long positions pre-news despite the fact that the NFP forecast is slightly higher than last month (forecast 75k), but at the same time, the traders that have done their homework will know the weak ADP figures and Unemployment Claims yesterday all hint to a weaker NFP.... so, while some expect it to sell off in anticipation of 'strong NFP data' if you look more closely, it could actually have a run up, as we know gold loves to jump with expectations....

I told 3561 was missing to mitigate. Pratically to the tick. A expected reaction, simple i am not seeing as turning point. Last day price was fighting at level 3645 is why to me is better wait a breakout of 3.526 or 3565.500 where price can go today too despite this reaction.
Is not a clear trend and don't expect to be in this range.
Next week is another week...

Partital take now, it reaching the swamp, hold small for extra profit, target 3532 next, then if H4 close below that level => 3500

I still don't trust sales. Failure at the 1H and 4H breakout. At least without the opening of that 1H candle being tested.

This upward movement in Gold and major currencies vs the mighty $ just proves that it's all topping...upside is limited, and NFP will throw it all down and DXY will fly...

but it not showing any down movement yet

The market is climbing the mountain.

Movement in slight gains. Like others can’t comment on post NFP. Maybe a slight drop before a move to 3600 or vice versa to 3500. B/e at 3540 so will hold on to near that before I get out unless we see a massive drop below 3540 which I can’t see happening just yet.
