So do you want to short, or have you already shorted? If not yet, when do you plan to short? What percentage is your risk if you're going to short, and what percentage is your target? If you can't say it in percentage, pips are fine too, and Price (Entry, SL and TP). The nice thing is, I see your simply reason to Short.

Options for next week .. up or down or sideways (every single week!)… there are lots of competent traders on this forum.. and there are lots of traders who think they are competent but are not .. take information from all and apply to YOUR own personal trading strategy.. in my experience, it is difficult to predict what next week will bring over weekends because markets may be impacted by various world events .. I would try and avoid trading on national holidays because influence of key nations are missing. I would also suggest to start with a small account and build up, so that your losses can only be small if market goes against you. Good luck .

I want to point out: We have a long-term bearish price channel in place since the all-time high, and it's still intact. From a technical perspective, there's nothing preventing a reversal after hitting the upper border on friday. However, from a fundamental perspective, given Trump's recent statements, a bullish scenario is also entirely conceivable. On top of that, silver recently broke out of its own long-term price channel to the upside and is now moving very bullishly. For me Gold will move next week: 60% bearish, 35% bullish, 5% messed up because of Trump.

Hello!!!

Started trading 4/5 months ago and gotta say i love it and hate it dont know did I start at a perfect or the worst time to start trading cause the changes to flip a few hundred bucks to a few grand on some nights has been great and losing the same amount on the next weeks that I have made is chaotic cause my prediction have been good but the timing omg has been ass most of the time, I get stomped out then im like okei in done for the week then boom next day it reaches the predicted side of the market and the effing news always on the end of the weeks f me up causer the market jumps are violent on the new week open like a bitch like what the hell
and yes I know stop loss is a thing but risk it for the biscuit mindset is deadly and awarding what is gambling I guess but gold is gold and I love it cause of the moving of this is just amazing not sure if the right thread to post this here just been following the peoples thought on here for a long time and love the community.

My key levels for monday : 3345 and 3360

M15 closed below 3345 = short
M15 closed above 3460 = long

Let's see how the price open on monday

How many percent are contained in 1 (from your Equity)? Or how many pips are contained in 1? Assuming we're trading Gold here, Got it?
SL only 100 pips surely won't work easily. There will be more losses than wins.

Care to share some stats (trading explorer)?

these days! But big gap up tonight open at 3384 then to 3414 as news has an impact!

Does it show a bearish bias? - of course not...
That some people find it difficult to differentiate between a retracement and a bearish bias tells a lot about the expertise of this thread...
(plus the facts that you already mentioned: permanent conjectures about the future instead of concrete analysis, i. e. trades with timenframe, entry, exit, RRRs, reasons for entering, reasons for exiting etc etc)

Not necessarily no; if the premise is that anything can happen, then bias is something that exists in our heads (a projection). I have to ask you: You see the most general picture, which is that the price is currently rising on the Weekly, but on which time frame can you actually trade and what is the pattern? Because the structure of the higher time frame is always formed by the smaller time frames. When someone sees a rejection candle from 4 weeks ago with a long wick, they will naturally analyze it as bearish, whereas currently it is just a retracement, and very much they have succeeded to some extent.
