I don't know if it's going to come down to 1900 or below again. I don't think the war alone is enough to send gold up like it has, just like it didn't do it like this when Russia invaded Ukraine. As I said before, it's behaving more like it did with SVB etc collpased.

All I want is for it to come back down to fill the gaps between 1900-1885, and i deally the gapped opening on Monday last week, though I'm probably pushing it on that. Although it made a new low after Lehman.

I would have probably come back and put some trades on if it bad done further retracements.

All I ever wanted was a strategy that would allow me to cature just a couple of dollar moves each day. Could just never figure whether it was going up or down

US has strong positive (green) economic data coming every week. Once any agreement happened to resolve the war then Gold is gonna drop quickly.

That's what I was thinking. The fundamentals of bond yeilds and interest rates haven't changed. Gold still yields 0% and there isn't anything from a financial perspective to send gold to record highs yet. At least from what I can see. I guess you could say I'm short-term bearish, long-term bullish

more than enough play long , still can do more without correcting . watching signal 1950.80 breaks or hold ! take care
done 50.80 , next just assure at 1949.97 as good signal that top failing , at least now !

Ah well, I guess the lesson here for me is to not try to ride the wave more than once. Pretty demotivated now as I've made really good progress in learning and profits, and now it's all gone to waste (well in this aspect the profits). Ah well, it's the aim of the game.

trading exposes what kind of man one is.
failure result mostly from greed and fear.
go for discipline, patience and consistency. if you are consistent week in and week out whether making small profits or not, greed and fear do not reside within you.
once you got that, you can then confidently and slowly increase the position size.

time to clean the chart a little to back previous face . a top failure in place , watching for 1937.80 retest and break next !
