Just by the way, the discount coupon for E8Funding is REB8 ,then you get 10% off the price. This is also confirmed by customer support today. It will last for a while.

Does E8 funding use eightcap as their broker? It seems to appear as if they have their own feed. I've searched their website but cannot seem to find the info. I'm guessing eightcap is kind of a white label like TradersCentral as there are several props using them.
250K for a bit over $900 with the coupon is a good deal and I like the fact they are based in the US. Shows that regulations as far as leverage, anti-hedging, FIFO and restriction from gold, silver and indices DO NOT APPLY to simulated accounts.

nope they do not. because how are they gonna prove that anybody offered you anything? it's a "demo"

only brokers arent allowed to offer you CFDs or more than 1:50

Exactly, that's why for USA traders, these props are more than just large accounts, they also give us the trading freedom the rest of the civilized world enjoys

I just found this thread and decided to share my experinces with prop firms.

I have traded for over 40 years mostly stocks and been a fully funded trader at 5 major prop firms back in the day.

Back in the day any real prop firm NEVER charged me a dime and provided me with training for free and would fund me up to 2 million with no problem.

This all ended with the Dodd Frank Act and day traders were made into villians and evil spirits lol.

The laws changed so the REAL prop firms disappeared.

These new fake prop firms like FTMO etc... are not legitimate and the rules are set up to make it next to impossible to last longer then 6 months to a year.

I tried FTMO at least 5 times and even when I was trading great their servers would go down or their spreads would go crazy and ultimatly I would fail.

I hope people learn once and for all these firms are only in the business of selling dreams and not in the business of finding good traders.

It's in their FAQ section. I never had any issues with the E8 server.

That's awesome, it is their own feed. I am slacking, wasn't aware of this firm having their own LPs. You had good experience with them? This is great, a couple of very good options to add to the mix.

Your statement above is not true, I'm coming upto a year with MFF (same account). When you pass the phases there is no excuse to lose an account, it is on YOU!

Would you go for the 250k or the ELEV8 100k that scales?

Well after the bad experience I had with TFF, I would not be going them! It was exactly the "opening and closing trade within 30 seconds" that they didn't like - told me that they can't replicate it on their copy server! Anyway perhaps they have bucked up their ideas when it comes to scalpers. Hope so

Oops, they did not say they charge commissions on FX for E8F, only when I asked them a few times they came with some details to that point. So that is not so great.
It is between ca. $3 and $6 per rtl , so they charge $3.18 per rtl for NJ and $6.20 for GJ as example. I can confirm that because I opened some sample trades in trial.

I would do the 250K. It is just for additional funding. However, upon looking at the parameters, 8% overall DD (20K) is the same as having 200K with FTMO or $166K with MFF. Of course, on phase1 they are only asking for 8%, so in essence flip the account just as one would with FTMO.
I always evaluate the firm based on funded status, as long as the target is not more than 100% of DD and the fee is refundable. In other words, what is my benefit/value after passing?

Hello everybody.

I recently applied to Audacity Capital, and got approved for a 15k real account funding.

I'm now supposed to pay 298£, (199 one time + 99 monthly) and get "immediate access" to the account.

I have zero experience with Prop Firms, and I'm trying to gather information in order to pick a reliable one. The fact that Audacity Capital approved my application after a 5 minutes interview without requiring any broker statement or document of any kind, gets me a little suspicious.

They didn't even want me to go through a trial phase with demo trading.

So I have two questions:

1) any experience with this particular prop firm?
2) what's the general consensus in here on reliable prop firm?

This is an easy one........there are about 10 better options than the one you chose.
Let me guess, for your 298, your max allowable DD is, wait for it..................................... 298 or less?

-If I recall, the last time that I looked into the ELEV8 model, they were wanting 16% per month profit (of account size, not of draw-down allowance) in order to scale up. I wonder if this has changed.

1) no
2) FTMO is best, then I would say TFF (TrueForexfunds) and E8F(unding) is good. MFF has bad customer service, so do avoid it until you have no other options.

Max drawdown I was told is 10%.

What are the 10 best options you are referring to?

The catch on the ELEV8 model is that they will keep doubling the account size every month until 1 mil interesting model for sure
