This thread has turned into nothing more than a personal diary for some people, instead of offering meaningful insights about prop firms—an absolutely infuriating trend that I can’t stand.
We are about to see many claims in prop firm space about A books and order flow managents.

There are some people doing things in the background but retail traders seem to not quite understand still liquidity and how it works, even for futures.

I will leave futures alone in this conversation because too tired to deal with affiliates attacks but for CFD firms here is what you must know to check if there is strategy in the order flows.

#1 they dont accept news - if they accept news there is no a book or order flow. Fills are too hard during this time and most LP's will cut anyone sending bigvolume of news flow. Its junk flow of no value to anyone in the chain.
#2 No scalping - everyone has their own definition of scalping, but basically trades in the seconds that dont give the LP time to do anything with it. Lets say 1 or 2 minutes should be the minimum time held (different for futures i know shut up).
#3 click size - 100 lot clicks on FX are rarely effective and result in big slippage. It is easy to manage smaller sizes in liquidity level. IF you want 100 lots, do it in 10 lot clicks because 100 lots single click will slip like expos hand on a saturday morning (applies to futures too) if it doesn't slip, you are not in real market.
#4 the people behind the wheel need to know what order flow is and not just use buzz words for sales. It seems there is a trend now on X for user to say "we are doing this" but that user doesn't even know what retail trading is let alone institutional. Even blue guardian idiot started pretending he knows something when he doesn't.

Lots of this conversation will appear this year in prop world be aware and understand, especially for CFD market that there are solutions to problems but they must be tailored to fit. For futures, the models are set up as casinos anyway until someone is actually funded. The hope is that the show continues on so you all can get your money and live well, this is my hope. But with so much saturation there will be big dips in futures props i think. They haven't seen a dip in watermark yet and APEX just reached the size of mff recently. If something happens to them, it will be history repeated.

& found they have $250k account as well under Direct Accounts
& they all are same r:r wise
Why did you choose the $150k account even if you have the money to buy it?

Thats some crazy money for 250k....and there is no big difference for half the money can get 150k straight....

Simple Math
150k max payout amout - 3k - 450$
250k max payout amount - 4k - 899$

Plus if you have money worth 250k then purchase 150kx2 then earning potential is 6k as comapred to 4k

i Choose account size based on DLL and overall loss limit and profit threshold.

This 150k parameters meets my risk appetite.

once there was a spike that should not have been there , Lmax let the traders who made money on that move , keep their profits and made good on the people who lost money

There was a trader who compared Lmax , Interactivebrokers and Dukascopy , Lmax came out as the best deal

with Metatrader you can not add liquidity to Lmax , for that you have to use the webplatform

Send them some sharp flow and see. I clearly can't show you broker terminals with rejections because that would be unscrupulous. The retail offering of LMAX and the liquidity offering is different and takes a long time to tune. If you plug them in and start firing flow at them you will get rejections. If you have been working with them for years I suspect you will get better rates. I speak with someone who is ex LMAX (8 months or so not working with them) most days and his words not mine are "we struggled to actually execute the vision because the makers want to choose what flow they take after pricing.

Lmax for retail directly, great product, fastest connectivity in the industry by far.

FTMO 5ers.. there are many now that could be labelled legit but 50x as many frauds.

but DLL & overall loss limit is in the same proportion as it is on 150k challenge.

I will also try the same.
I am currently working on strategy for trading nasdaq futures.

Why did you select gold futures instead of nasdaq futures if you are trading micros??
Isn't 30 micros equals 3 minis??

yes, 30 micros equal to 3 minis.
Assuming that you trade 30 micros, for you to get hit DLL, the gold price must move against you by 12 $ ( 120 points )

If you have reasonable trending tech system, you are unlikely to get hit DLL

NQ ( Nasdaq is too volatile and daily range is more, so DLL can get hit easily

Do you think it is difficult to profit 30 points ?

I can only think of one scenario trader is running out of all the prop firms in the world and want cushion on live as they can transfer 25K*3 = 75K instead of 15K*3 = 45K.
