I just started a 100K account challenge account with ACG, I will keep everyone updated on experience as I want to contribute more. I have a good strategy and know how to pull money out the markets but my weakness was over leveraging and patience to wait on ky setups. I stay in my lane and trade on UJ. I understand futures but struggle with the platform so I'm slowly reading the post and learning. This time, I'm sticking to my rules and not risking more than 1% and only trading when I'm mentally fit since it's unlimited now. Nasky made a solid post on risk a couple days ago and referenced traders who tried to hit a homerun and not manage risk well. That was me! Some traders can and I applaud you but my greed takes over and I start breaking my rules. This time I not focused on the profits but my process and keeping my risk in check. I read this thread daily and it's the only trading forum I follow and I learn tidbits from most of the contributors.

yeps buddy i have planned alot after finishing the current 600k worth of challenges going to buy atleast 1million worth of more challenges. I do manual trading so cant handle more than 5 accounts at a time…so far except the 1 pip slippage all the firms are used are good

Got the email from APEX today with the pay link and contract for my 100K. Guess I'll do that when I get home later tonight.

I'm officially a high roller. It's an honor to be part of the group.

TrustPilot is possibly one of the most untrustworthy platforms out there with something like 80% of fake reviews. They should be shut down for mass fraud as like most of these prop trading „companies. You can better trust the Nigerian prince who mails you ;-)

Paid the fee, signed the contract, and the funded account was activated within minutes.

So far APEX has been very smooth. Not in love with the trading rules, trailing drawdown, or initial withdrawal rules but can't beat the price and professionalism so far.

Your post is all about me 3 years ago. And I still face this problems. It's more about your personality and accumulated emotions I believe. You really need to spend time to recognise your C game (overtrading, lack of patience etc.) B game (average) and A game (best emotional balance, trading right way). The catch is you want to be the best all the time, but the most reasonable is balancing around B and A game and not fall to often to C game, and the most important is progress within C game. This is job I done. Now C game for me is for example loss of funded account, or overtrading when being to confident after winning streak. In past my C game was martingale and fighting the market when couldn't earn money i already booked in my mind. Read Jared Tandler "mental game of trading".

It's simple.
Order flow is about watching an order book and use the gathered information as confirmation for the trading decision.
Check this image. This is a nice example of why reading a book worth it.

aha i see, what is this i’m seeing and is it the information after the orders been completed? Is it possible to use for forex.
Is the data from futures only or? Or does it cover cash, swaps, forwards and options also?
some indicator or data provider?

It is called footprint chart, it's available for FUT only because the L2 data is needed for this. AFAIK there are people who trade CFDs based on FUT data. But as I've been trading Oil, I do not trade it as CFD because WTI Crude oil CFD product usually has a 3–5 pips spread.
The screenshot shows a specific pattern one can be looking for. It's typically wrongly identified as an unfinished auction.
I'm using Sierrachart and its Denali data feed.

Who knows if the Apex connection for Ninjatrader is without or with non-aggregated ticks/quotes ? Because I need unfilitered tick data and actually having a problem.

Interesting, in Sierrachart I can select Agg or Not Agg.

always only read the 1-3 rating, never the 5 stars, there are really man fakes. this gives a good picture.

on the other hand, you often see rants with one star, that are the problem of the trader not the broker, and so changes the picture to for some good brokers:
- some have big regulations and so need longer time to open an account and a lot of papers and documents
- many traders use cheat trading systems (like latency arbitrage , will it be in news trading or whole day) and wonder why did not get payed out (near anyone comes to this idea in his trading life until can see will not work)
- complaining about scammers who used this broker to stea your money by do copytrades or manage your account and get performance fee or commission from this and trades brutal risky just to optiize maximum for commission and risky performance (martingale always best here, because the always happen loss on end get the client, the trader gets commission and performance fee until this day)
- dont understand ask price and use simple trading platforms like metatrader where you have only bid chart and then dont check that ask stoped you out and can change to very big in news or events or after/before weekend
- and so on

so this complains about trader problems you need to know to see what are real bad reviews and what only because trader dont know better.
with prop is different, many have in rules that you lose all accounts when you give bad reviews, so you will see many 5 star ratings. and with coaches even worst, there the coaches let you rate often inside their coachings on beginning, when noone see how bad they are. and bad they let delete often.

but trustpilot is best you will get at the moment, forexpeacyarmy was before on same level, but trustpilot is now much more used.

take a strategy that match your mind (like montygoldy did), and not change the mind to the strategy.

any strategy is easy to design to match youself! thatswhy copy others dont work.

always think logic, thats the biggest advantage in trading.
like with props: when props show even coaching inside their website, when they have a lot of statistics, a lot of whatever trader can help.... then only because of one reason: they know their statistical house rule advantages are so big that this will be not enough to help the traders (so that they need to pay out more the 20% of the fees) to win or is useless material (like in most coaching where even some parts are wrong teached) and in many cases this additional material let people think they should try this now and take next challenge like this and so on....

mindset is less important when you take a strategy what produce small losses and small wins and go up in equity curve. you never have greed, because you never have big wins. you never have fear, because you never have big losses. there is here only one part, FOMO you need to accept that you dont take the longterm big trends, but for this disadvantage you get a flat curve with bigger wins on the end with no other emotions in play.
never forget, mindset is in 90% (i would even say 100% if you are not in bad brain situation : ill, stress, bad sleep .....) of the cases not the reason for problems in trading (but an easy to say blame because its so invisible), the reason is lack of understand the basics of trading (i have not seen one time the case that you could not bring the mistake down to this point). when you understand that mindset for trader is totally same like mindset in real life, you did understand the whole topic (often starts after some years).
