This video made me feel good about the nerds over at nChain. While every other coin is talking about circumventing the government, nChain is working with the government. Their approach is nuts and bolts, and that's what works in the long run. Nuts and bolts also work especially well in an environment where capital is expensive, such as the one we're entering.

Check out the comments made on this video. I've never seen such a high percentage of people understanding that CW is Satoshi. The world is starting to wake up boys!! A few more lawsuits like this and they'll be putting their money where their mouth is.

The funny thing about guys like Hodlonaut is that they're emotionally attached to CW's creation. They love bitcoin so much that they deliriously attack its creator because he's not who they expected. What a case study.
In general, the more obsessed someone is with bitcoin, the more they hate CW. The blood of a hardcore hodler will boil at mention of CWs name. It's not that the BSV longs are smarter than the hodlers, it's that we're less emotional about our finance. If you never loved bitcoin, you have no emotion toward CW, which allows you to sift through the evidence and come to the logical conclusion that CW is Satoshi.

Craig's testimony cleared up most of my outstanding questions, especially the cross exam. I was conflating a few incidents, like CW getting hacked and him not being able to access block 1-12. Seeing them as separate events is an eye opener.
There is nothing shady about CW not wanting to publicly sign Satoshi blocks. He's a weird and extremely complex man, so it's difficult to understand his motives, but through tenacious study it all makes sense.
A lie needs a brick wall to protect it, but the truth can emerge from just one crack. The crack is starting to form, and I'm quite confident the wall will fail within 18 months.
I'm not nearly as confident that our BSV trade will start working. CW is abrasive, aggressive, and generally unlikable. That makes it difficult to get people on board with BSV, even if they know he's Satoshi.
To recap...
Confidence that CW is Satoshi: 100%
Confidence that the public will accept CW as Satoshi: 80%
Confidence that the public will buy BSV: 50%
Win or lose, this is the best trade I've ever made.

Prediction: The COPA trial will not happen.
I don't think COPA wants smoke after seeing CW in these court settings. CW is a fraud on the internet, but in court he's a genius with a legendary career and all the facts on his side.
I'm hoping COPA goes to court, as that could be the BSV-$1K catalyst, but I think it has less than 10% chance of taking place.

We may be down on this trade, and Hodlonaut may have won his suit, but damn does this position feel right. We needed the forest to burn down to have any chance for our little seed to grow.

If CW wins a big lawsuit in this environment, look out!!
On a scale of 1-10, I put this at a 7 in terms of good news. Holy shit do we need Craig to get his legal chops up before this trial. If he pulls off a win we're pegging $1,000 BSV FOR SURE!!!
Unfortunately the trail isn't until next year. Such is life as a BSV long.
