Interesting. Could it be orphaned? Is the documentation such that you could determine this for certain?

This guy has some good strictly-legal analysis on the Kleinman trial.

Sounds good for CW.

I'm basing my statement on the fact that I can set a "LockTime" in Electrum, and there are plenty of references to "nLockTime" in the Bitcoin codebase [1].

It could be that all of the references to nLockTime in the codebase are bits of dead code and Electrum never got around to removing LockTime from the UI—but I doubt it.

{quote} If you're talking about BSV replacing BTC, then yes, it's Everest. But that's not the trade right now. All we need is some smart money to lift us to $1K and that's a huge trade in and of itself. I'm pretty sure most longs will reevaluate their position at $1K, as will I. In other words, there's little point in planning past $1K right now. Are you seeing it different?!?

Unless it blasts resistance I'll sell at high vol area,,,
well, theoretically!! (In my head aka wishful thinking) if bsv is a usable version of btc with other features why would it not be worth what btc is? Still though anything can happen...
Wall Street now have billions in btc + whales , so big money could push back soon, who knows what they might do, maybe nothing.. no contract no coins for Ira, means no coins get assigned.

VERY interesting day in court.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpbX-XYfNgg
A lot was revealed about the Tulip trust and the complexity of CW's business dealings. My biggest takeaway is that Craig uses the legal system in an extremely complicated way. Even before Bitcoin he had a worldwide web of companies, shell companies, trusts, controlling interests, and tax dodges. And after Bitcoin he incorporated DAC trusts. It's unlike anything I've heard of in my 20+ years of business.

In a way, CW's business dealings open my eyes in the same way the Bitcoin whitepaper did. I come away from both thinking 'how the fuck did this guy come up with this shit?!?!?' What I'm starting to understand about these polymaths is that mastery of multiple expertise has an exponential effect. For example, if you're an expert teacher and and expert builder, you can build a better school than a teacher and a builder working together. That's just a simple example -- imagine what you could do with legal, technical, economic, and cryptographic expertise. You'd be inventing new forms of currency!

Love him or hate him, do not underestimate this man. Do no purport to understand his actions or motives. He's on a different intellectual level than perhaps anyone living. The road to BSV-$10,000 looks impossible to a normal brain, but it ain't shit to Craig Wright.

Good lookin.

I keep hearing about the LockTime theory and similar theories (even mentioned in the above video). Today I'm starting to think it's a lot more complicated than LockTime, but similar in function. With these DAC trusts there's a lot of possibilities. Craig is a crazy fucker, who knows what kind of mess he made of the ownership structure.

Nobody is saying flat out that LockTime doesn't work, including Joshua if you listen closely. That jibes with what you guys are seeing in the code. I think "LockTime theory" is a good representation of the idea that Craig made a mess of his coin ownership and the Core Devs pulled the rug with a code change, knowingly or unknowingly, but it's not a literal killing of the function.

oops, kucoin

yes nlocktime issue does look to be more complicated than segwit just removing it, read something the other day about possibly invalidating old transactions and multisig, nothing about this whole things seems to be straight forward, but so many details coming out now, its great, living history here

She says Craig "appeared to become choked up" but other reports say that Craig was openly weeping on stand. Kurt Walker said Craig was crying so hard he couldn't understand what he was saying. What a nutter.

Btw, I posted the wrong video in my earlier post. I updated it. That video gets into a lot of the details I'm mentioning.

Can you explain to grandpa how to get access to that chat?

Btw, Craig is also telling the Nchain boys that the "defense" portion of the trial will include the Satoshi bombshells. I think that's toward the end of the trial.

This shit is way more interesting than expected!!! Anything can happen, edge of my seat!!!

There's no such thing as bad publicity on the road to BSV-$1,000, and a fight with Coinbase is a very public fight.
