Was it shows visually is, that the retail data I use and calculates,
suggest a rise at that previous screenshot moment due to the price being down, but with retail herd positions hoovered around unchanged.
In other words, private clients lost a lot of money these days and I'm trying to find a way to predict and profit from these money flows

The 4hr cycle is now complete, (2 bars back), volume/activity has give some credibility to the long position, last cycle was 120 bars back when the price opened with a gap up,got some band aids for my wounds just in case.

30min has not turned down yet, indicators saying a pullback, any further down from here could negate the possible rise, still +ve up until now.

In the previous post about BTC I wrote:

Note point 3. This is a potential SLKB under 7100. Watch for Demand-Bar on faster TF in order to join the Bullish Team in short-term perspective.

Let’s look the chart.

 

  1. After that point №3, market moved some further down in order to penetrate 7k round number.
  2. The close above 7k. This is a great chance for bulls to produce any notable rally. But what we got instead?
  3. Low volume trading range. What is the Cause for lack of trading activity?
  4. This supply bar gives you a clear answer. Trading activity increases as price moved down. BTC was overvalued at 7100.
  5. Touching support line of the downward channel is a risky buying, but in hindsight, it was a good idea. While community felt Panic emotions (Oh, Bitcoin is breaking down the Friday low! OMG)
  6. During this up-wave up-steps have increase in volume, while step-downs have decrease in volume (this bullish behavior is clearly seen on faster TFs).
  7. The very last bar contains a hit of 7200 level. With touching of blue thin trend-line. This is a moment to expect at least a pullback toward broken red zone of weakness. Now it should serve as support.

Closed out, rode the storm down and back up, took a Sheckle of profit but the chart showing a gap at the bottom so took the opportunity, no regrets.

I never understood why people keeeep buying a bearish trend.
It must be blind ambition.
When the trend is bearish it's way much safer to sell the Highs than buy the Lows !

Throwback to when we all had so much fun

Before gov intervention (opening of future short-selling)against the cryptomarket,
basically destroyed the continuing uptrend which was totally judged for.
But again, not one bigger market today is totally free, when shorting with leverage wasn't available it pumped the price aswell.

Seems a shame about the gap on the 30min, is it me or can anyone else confirm the gap lower down, the rise was as stellar as the fall, could be better things ahead but the gaps always closes, that said it could be my data feed,around 20 bars back from the present the gap occurred, good luck all.

The Market is the Ultimate Machine for making Losers

1) This down wave with breaking down below the 22/Nov low attracted a new portion of sellers. "OMG! BTC is going to hell, I need short this right now!"
Where that portion of bears tends to put their SLs?

2) Right. Here.

3) That is why we got up move with target ... Where?

4). Right. These green clusters represent the triggering of sellers' SLs above round number 7400. By making losers from described sellers, market lost big portion of interest in moving further upwards. That is why we have some sliding down today.

What is next?

5) testing high-volume 7100 level. Some minor bullish impulse can follow.

I don't know the deeper message outside of what I am about to say but... Bitcoin LOVES round numbers. Almost like it can't trade at random intervals. If it is somewhere between a couple thousand handles, it will certainly be moving toward one before too long. Kinda amazing.

Hello all, still got my on bit coin, still waiting for the gap to fill, I have this in an uptrend but a scenario could be a spike to complete the jigsaw, I asked about confirming the gap, no one came forward, while there are some good chartists, no one taking up the batton, so will ask again, is it my data or is there a gap at the bottom of the recent rise, thanks, D
