Agreed, I would think the divergence should be at the open or after it within the 2 hours previously mentioned by the starter of this thread, that'll be the reason why there's no trade every day perhaps. He has yet to disclose more detail on this.

The "news like" movements you refer to was profit taking in my IMHO , there was loads of momentum behind the down move. Although I would not deviate from the rules of entry or exit, you may want to add your favourite momentum indicator with perhaps ...

If the divergence you marked on the 5 min is correct, the I think the entry would have been on the 14:36 U.K time candle taking out the last down candle on the 1 min chart.

tradertron The Dow is very trade able in 1 minute tf, also the divergence works better at extremes early indications show :-D
