Going long on the Kumo breakout on EU Daily
- geojams replied Mar 18, 2015
EU has been bouncing of the kijun on the D1 for a while now. Will look to short around 1.0950. If it breaks that level, then I will look to short once it hits the kumo. ninja edit: It just blew past the kijun.....l

BUY EU @ 1.4539 — Hello all. It's been awhile since I visited these boards, but I am getting back into trading after a break in 2010. I went long at the bounce off the 23.6 Fib. I just took a very small, 0.01 lot, position just to test the ...

The fibs I posted last night are still holding. A sustained break of the 3650 area should take us to 4000 Also, this sure does look like a bull flag on the H4. This chart is the same as I posted last night, just zoomed into the H4.

I'm short at 2565, so it's not looking good for me right now. However, if it does not break the 61.8% fib or the UTL I could have a chance.

I've been waiting for a bounce off this 50% and will be looking to go short later in the session. For right now I am just going to watch the H1 and see if PA confirms a short position.

BB — I'm just starting to try out Bollinger Bands in my trading and was wondering if any of the BB gurus out there could tell me what they make of this bands on this chart. I see the bands tightening, but they really are not in a channel yet. ...

Fibs are fractal. There are retracements within retracements within retracements. Here's my take on the recent move. EDIT: Just noticed my larger fib is backwards to how I would normally draw it.

One more thing on Fibs that I have noticed. Sometimes the best placement is not at the swing high or low, but where the candle opened or close. Notice what happens when I moved the 0% to this level and did not use the swing high. What I usually look ...

Here is Example 2. I draw another Fib Retracement with 0% starting at the first fibs 50% and then extend it out to the first fibs 100%. Both Fib Retracements 100% level will be the same. I call this "bisection" because I am dividing the first ...

I will just watch the chart. If it goes back to the 2700 area and then I get a nice reveral signal, then I will enter short. As for the bisection, an example might clear things up. Here is my first fib retracement. Sorry for the larger size. It was ...

If you take a large move, like the one from 2525 to 2990 and plot your fibs, then bisect that move with another fib retracement you will often see additional areas of support. Here I see support at the inner 38.2% retracement. So, we either retrace ...

[quote=ak4x;2485707]add on note to previous post... price stalled right at the 3037 qp again, previous high of the spike up.../quote] 3037 is also the 38.2% fib from the move down that started on Sunday. If It can break through here, then I'll look ...

I don't know about a site, but ODL has it in their Demo account along with a bunch of other indices and a few stocks as well. I like it because I can chart WTI or OIL in MT4 with my normal chart setup. Oh, and I have WTI at 47.37 right now.

I have R1 at 3039. If it can bust thought there, next resistance is at 3081, where I have M4 and a Fib line from the Nov 25th high.

DeMark Trend Lines — For those that follow DeMark Trend Lines, there is Qualifier 3 LTL break on the D1.

Not really.

LRC — I use linear regression and Fibonacci retracements. This has been fairly accurate for me so far. Anyway, from my chart it looks likely that we will go down to the 4368 level. After that, who knows? I am not trading this. It is just my ...
