The charts shown by KWT4X are essentially higher-level "roadmaps" that give direction. Using Gann-based Time/Price considerations, you can use tools in the lower timeframes like "Gann Bands" that show price over time with breakout structure cues. I ...

For the reasons I stated to @since80808, it doesn't look like a valid setup. See image below. image

Hi Does the chart below look like a trend break candidate? The red trend line is the one I'm referring to. Thanks. image

Is your yellow box based on the piercing pattern found on the M30 timeframe? Reading through the thread, I thought you mentioned that these boxes are based on HTF engulfings? Any further explanation would be appreciated! Many thanks. image

Hey @greenbro, I use a Gann swing indicator that I use to get highs/lows according to Gann's consecutive highs/lows approach. I've posted a chart below that shows a two-bar swing but, you can go from a 1 bar swing to quite literally as many bars as ...

I took another look at GU/H4. I can see a clearer effect of the multiple offset. The first image below is -16 on each channel. image Now see the "1970" standard offsets below. You can see a much clearer curve that gives more information as to what ...

Here are a couple of screenshots of GU/M1 with the two types of channel offset setups. I think I'm actually starting to prefer version 2 which is where each channel is offset by half of its MA value. image image

Here is an M1/GU trade I'm in with the channels all using their own offsets. image

Just a heads-up. Here is EURUSD/H4 with the offset(s) at 1/2 of the respective MAs. image

Hey Swede, I note your very interesting diagram, comments about fixing scale and, your comment about price reacting to the 52-degree line. I thought you might be interested in the screenshot below of the same chart/area of price. This is a "working" ...

Just hit 80 pips on this one from earlier - H4 seems to paint a better picture, supporting Jenkins levels and Fan. image

Got an order block entry on UF. It retested the setup at the square root of the JNR and all in the area of the JNR and fan angle cross. Let's hope it carries on north! Some nice equal highs overhead so, I imagine it will target the liquidity up ...

Just playing around with the Fib fan with Gann levels. Kwt4x gave me some great help in understanding the use of the Gann levels as opposed to using the Fib levels. That alone shows some crazy adherence of price to the fan levels. However, I added ...

Inspired by Leacher's last EU post (above), I just took a sample range low from the top and look what it predicted! image Some of the touches that have occurred since are uncanny!

Done some early experiments with JNR on my indicator. The ratios really seem to work well with small low to high (or high to low) ranges. Here are a few examples:- image image image Here is the current input layout (in MT4) image

Hi Swede, my broker allows the use of MT4 and MT5. They have a "wallet" concept so you can move funds to/from your wallet and apply the funds to your various MT4/MT5 accounts - nice and easy to move between them. So, I have been looking a lot at MT5 ...

I took the bottom low to the first following high - so, not really subjective, and this is what I got:- image It's actually pretty amazing how it lines up with price action from BEFORE the point that I started the grid!

OMG, I just tried to use the Gann Grid tool in MT5 and it's an absolute doddle to set up by comparison to MT4. You drag the lines or increase them but it always maintains the 45 degree angle relative to the current scale of the chart:- image Then ...

Does this look about right - GU, M15 - never used Gann Grid before, really interesting. image
