Recognize the 95% losers in forex when they ask questions such as "which EA is the most profitable?" Why, for the name of God, would you build a list of EAs when people have no idea how to trade manually yet? You're just confusing them more lol ...

Used to use them, but moved away only because they didn't have (I don't know now) micro accounts (ie trading micro lotsize). Everything else was fine, deposits, withdrawal, affiliate system, trading etc.

I am using the RobotFX Fluid expert advisor to do just that, except that I enter on the end of the first brick, not second; also exit on the end of the first color change. However, the EA can be customized to do what you need and a free demo version ...

I personally care a lot about the Stochastic, so I ignored the PSAR and the MACD indicators. There's a visible uptrend anyway. image

Sorry, been busy lately. This is the idea (ignore the pending sell). image

I will, when I'll have the chance. Not really. You should really buy when the candles are red and sell when they are blue... at least with the default indicator settings. I'd use the Stochastic arrows for confirmation and then spot the entry based ...

That's an example. I was not going to enter when the price formed the last higher-low, I was only preparing to. And eventually I did when the red candles started to look like a double bottom. But it's forex and nothing is certain. There are no ...

You probably stopped reading just before the Entry. In my strategy it really doesn't matter if the channel repaints or not, we only use it to identify the trend (as in 'going up' or 'going down').

You're welcome (to everyone that thanked me ) Sorry, I've been busy to login lately. Before I'll answer your questions, I must say that this is nothing special. It is just a bunch of indicators into one. However, it may ...

You can use "gain" if "win" sounds strange to you. For me it's a game, that's why I write win. As you said, I sold for a 'nice profit', so I won something. Congrats to me Anyways, to be honest I have no idea where you're going with this example. ...

I'm usually entering/exiting on renko brick change. 10 pips bricks on most of the charts, sometimes lower. Never higher. But I do trade the trend on normal candlesticks, the renkos are just to spot the right entry/exit. I could use only renkos if ...

I take that you are part of the 5% now. If so, why would you want to help the 95%?! The more they lose, the more you earn And yes, I know how it sounds... I'm really not that kind of selfish guy. But last time I've tried to help people - by ...

Does the EA work or not? I think it missed 2 entries, if I understood well how it works. Am I missing anything? image If it matters, I'm on XM broker, MT4 920.

Sorry to bother you guys with the same question. How do you strategy-test a renko EA? If it is possible image Can't understand how you choose M2 timeframe
- wattaman replied Nov 30, 2015
imo this kind of 'risk management' is useful if you don't want to lose all your money at once, but in small amounts
- wattaman replied Nov 30, 2015
A noob question: how do you strategy test this EA? I've seen test results around here, but can't figure it out how to choose the M2 timeframe when starting the tester. I'm on MT4 920, if it matters.

Why is that a problem? Forget about the SL, learn to hedge and basket trade and you'll never lose again.
