I too have been using Floating Charts for years on mt4. Then earlier this week it just stopped working and the site no longer seems to exist. As others say, it was a very useful piece of software with most of the functions you need. The "undock ...

Stopped out at b/e and I've had enough for today.

Either way it's going nowhere fast at the moment - the early momentum seems to have fizzled out. A very indecisive afternoon. Let's hope for a late spurt!

Finally. Took a long @25695 off the M5 200ema just after 3.30 and some momentum seems to have crept in at last. We'll see if it breaks this mornings high.

Yes I've noticed much the same - 3pm, 3.30, 4 and 4.30. But watching this mess for 2 hours or more is just wearying.

Sometimes I think it's a lot easier just to trade out of hours on the Dow. There were some easy pips to be had this morning going long and then short. Frankly I'd rather watch paint dry than sit through this open waiting for direction for an hour or ...

Yes it looks like this counter trend rally is still very strong - so will be looking for longs again the rest of this week. First target 25850 and if that doesn't hold as resistance then 26000 becomes the obvious target.

Temptation won - stopped out at b/e. Time to rethink.

I think Boeing is more likely to be the mover here - if anything is - but from my perspective the ABC retracement topped out at 2577 and I got in on the first shallow pullback. Let's see.

Almost tempted to move the stop to b/e as the entry is now above the 76.4 fib on this drop...but not just yet.

Short on the Dow from 25744 with a 35 pip stop as I believe this retracement is now complete. Time will tell!

Long on the Dow @25252 with a target around the 25600 area at the 38.2 fib.

I see this pa on the Dow as another long drawn out correction in a wave 4 after Monday's impulsive drop in a wave 3. The other long drawn out affair in a wave 2 was from the evening on Feb 27 and lasted through till early Monday this week before the ...

Nice spike up to and rejection of the R1 daily pivot on the Dow. Short at 12642 on the pullback and the spread went from 3.6 to 1.5 at the NY open. Staff at the broker don't even know what their own spreads are!

Yes I know - and I have sent them an outraged email to justify their position as they have suddenly made themselves very uncompetitive with the likes of IG who maintain 2.4 out of hours and 1.6 during market hours. Their reply - or lack of one - ...

I'm told that the spread should drop to 2.5 during market hours and the "target" is 4 during out of hours/low liquidity periods. Whereas last week it was 2 - 2.5 out of hours and 1.6 during. I'll be keeping a close eye on it this afternoon.

Just out of interest - my spreadbetting broker has increased the spread on the cash Dow from 1.6 (last Friday) to 3.6 this morning, whilst The Dax stays at 0.8. They claim it is a "commercial" decision and in line with other brokers. Can anyone ...

Not sure it's a good idea to buy any retraces just yet. This sell off on the Dow could turn into a powerful wave 3 down - in which case these early retraces could turn out to be very shallow.

I think cat needs to get his Choirs of War track cued up to play at full blast around 3pm - that should clinch it!
