Which prop firm are you with?

Hutch, the problem with a repainting indicator, such as the Halftrend TT is, simply waiting for the current candle to close isn’t long enough to be assured the arrow won’t move (backwards or forward). I’ve worked with it quite a bit in the Strategy ...

What is the name of the firm you're referring to?

Andrew, At the top of your first posting, you wrote: ">>> I stop selling my EAs and Indis. Thank you for your contribution and good-bye. <<<" Is this still the case? If so, it would be nice if you could put an "unlocked" copy of the last update ...

Best to avoid the cycle identifier as a confirmation indicator. Stick to Hutch's FX Bay MACD or something similar like a BB MACD (this is a good one: url )

No, it does not produce an arrow on every new high/low. If you try it out for a while, you'll see how it works. Read this: https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...4#post13219524

Aren't you the clever one for saving all the "noobs" from sure bankruptcy! Once again, you completely miss the point of this thread.

Here you go!

sibianaga: the .mq4 file is correct but some of the settings are different than in the .ex4 file you mentioned. Specifically, other than colours and sizes, the MA_shift should be -2, the MA_period should be 1, the Factor should be 1 and the ATRdelta ...

Paul, I understand what you're saying. My thought was, impactful news events can often have a very negative effect on EA generated equity. A news filter would turn off "auto trading" temporarily. That could prevent a drawdown in equity that would ...

Paul, Have you considered adding a news filter to your Equity Guardian EA? This would obviously be redundant with your MoTuBo_EA but I can see it being useful with other EAs that don't handle news events very well.

Further to what Paul mentioned; I have 10 trades open, all in profit. I set the start of trading at Monday, 18:00 but Monday, 16:00 would have been much better. I'll try that next week.

Things are looking much better this week, than they've looked for quite a while. I'm following Paul's lead by starting trading earlier than before; Monday at 6:00 PM. Here are my results so far this week: image image

Paul, My broker's offset is GMT+2 hours. I was using closes to determine range, an entry ratio of 10% (I know, just trying different things) and a SL of 50%.

Paul, eg. NZDJPY - opened today at 02:54:30 / $65.054. It was closed by SL at 03:20:26 / $65.057. It shows the SL was set at $65.054. I had Break even set at 0.25 x SL, which I don't believe price ever got close to. It was a Demo account, although I ...

I noticed the same thing. Multiple trades are opening simultaneously rather than consecutively. The other thing I noticed was, some trades were being closed by the Break even function that didn't come close to hitting the Break even level I'd set ...

Paul, I hate to ask you to add a variable to your EA, as there seems to be many such requests being thrown at you, but I do have a simple (I hope) one to suggest. Could you make the number of trades allowed per week, a variable? I'm trying to ...

UPDATE: with ~25 hours left in the trading week, 16 of the 19 pairs I'm trading have triggered. 4 of the 16 are slightly negative but I'm up over 620 pips, so all is fine. I delayed the start of trading to Thursday +1 hour. That worked fine too but ...
