I found that the new Oanda FxGame client allows to change the time zone. Having said that their charting software is not nearly as good as MT's, to say the least e.g. for me personally the biggest issue is the lack of Weekly and Monthly charts.

Is there anything free? Nevertheless, how much is the package i.e. Neoticker + eSignal data feed?

Made 19 pips with AUD/NZD (an average from 2 lots) with an auto-click. Oanda widened the spread to 30 pips on AUD/NZD and 20 pips on AUD/USD and AUD/JPY. Looking back, should have traded EUR/AUD whcih moved more than 100 pips on the initial spike :-)

Traded AUD/NZD since it tends to move more pips than NZD/USD. Got filled at 1.1553, exited at 1.1574 with 21 pips profit. Oanda, my broker, increased the spread from normal 10 for this pair to 15.

Good on you Micardo! It could have been a beautiful day for me too, had I followed the my system's rules. And although I did make +18 pips, on the day like this, there should have been a better return.

Thanks for the advice, MP. That's exactly what I've been thinking about a lot because pretty much everytime I jump on breakouts they tends to retrace. Like this morning, after I bought right on the peek of the spike, the price retraced almost 40 ...

Yes, Micardo, this system is using breakouts as potential entry signals. I've been using it for less than a month. So far, I am down 45 pips, however that's much less than a number of pips I normally risk on a trade. In terms of how it is working ...

I ran the EA a few times with the default parameters (except changing StartTimes and BaseTimes) on cable 30 min. In all cases, my account was down in the end.
- manul replied Nov 2, 2006
True, but the big question is what direction to enter the trade (if at all) since you don't know what the actual number is going to be like...
- manul replied Nov 2, 2006
Markj, Just to confirm that e.g. with your broker (i.e. 3 pips on the cable), the first price target is 14+3=17 i.e. the price has to advance 17 pips to get TPed, correct?

MT Script for Test — I think it would be really beneficial to have an MT Script for backtesting in which one could specify certain system parameters e.g.: 1) starting point e.g. 00:00 GMT, 5 pm EST etc 2) straddling points e.g. 20, 30, 50 etc ...
