Yea. Forgot to mention something. I guess its crucial to achieve those gains. Each week, I opened new positions in same direction after a retracement. Letting the previous profits cover the stop loss. So that if both orders reverse on me, I'd still ...

rally? ha. The US borrows bout $2billion a day. with its trade deficits + war funding, it's only going to go down further. It's only a matter of time before inflation and recession sets in. Using USD in America is fine for now, but those using ...

This thread has gotten away from the main topic at hand a little, just pm me for anything indicator related. Although I do experiment with new ideas and indicators, I mostly use tried and true methods. But anyways, lets all continue on BB on ...

Apparently, the indicator that I uploaded. It's supposed to use a shift of 1. This indicator was only meant to predict 1 bar into the future. Thats what adding the slope to the linear regression does.

ok, tsf is just linreg+slope, it was really easy to add the addition to my indy, so here it is. Also added the ability to shift. I don't get why you like it tho, its difference seems minute to me. BTW, you do kno that shifting just moves the line to ...

No jokes. And I'll start programming the tsf indicator.

uh... bad bad bad... 1) Losers must be cut! 2) Let winners ride. A flaw with your approach: What if it makes 60 pips, doesn't reach your TP of 100 then tanks all the way down to your stop loss? SL and TP should be based on ATR. Fixed SL or TP isn't ...

uh.. resurrection of a dead thread. There's another indicator for TD Sequential on these forums. I believe in the metatrader section. Plus, trying to predict a reversal is IMO riskier than trend following.

kharvell, Dunno if this was asked of you yet, but I was wondering how your experience with Oanda has been.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but you seem to be new to forex. Before you start indicator hoarding, please understand all underlying concepts first. If you're interested in bollinger bands, please read some of the literature that's littered ...

To be honest, I don't know if he specifically created the bollinger bounce and breakout methods, but he does touch on them. Google bollinger breakout, or bollinger bounce, wealth of info out there. That's true, you don't really need to use %B, I ...

I've followed your previous threads for a bit and have also looked at your BB on steroids. It seems to be though that you're just using classic BB methodology. White trades being Bollinger Bounces, and Blue trades being Bollinger Breakouts. In my ...

Swing trading style FTW!!! K.I.S.S. TF: D ENTRY: Engulfing Pattern w/ SRDC I in the direction of trend. EXIT: SL=ATR/2 or Break of previous bars low/high MM: Partial Profit at ATR/2, SL to breakeven. Ride the rest.

I would be interested in those results. Also, how did you handle the 1600 pip tank at the end of february.
- ch33z3 replied Apr 12, 2007
I guess most r in agreement that this pair is rediculously overbought. Best course of action, take partial profit and move up stop loss. If it tanks, it'll tank hard, at least 300 pips.
