This is false-hope nonsense for the majority of retail traders on this forum. It requires that kind of money in order to generate that kind of money. So anyone generating that kind of money to enjoy those things, already has that kind of money and ...

The ones that know what they're talking about inform that MetaQuotes doesn't really care about what traders themselves think. Their customers are the brokers... MetaQuotes has also stated they're no longer updating MT4 (implies the same about ...

That means you'll have to rework the system in order to minimize that loss, improve accuracy, etc. You definitely don't want to continue as is if that one loss wiped away all of the recent profit.

Very predictable as stated previously, once you figure it out. image

It's a HG for my purpose based on how I currently trade but it may currently be useless to you. I'd have to search and try to dig for the post because I have no idea in which thread I had read it. It was just a post I had read about 1 year ago which ...

I'm sure there are plenty of successful traders, we just don't hear from many of them on the forums. They're probably too busy making money and, learning how to make even more money. It doesn't take very much to be successful if you have a ...

It's not that one, it's just 1 post about one way of using a common indicator. It has very good accuracy when back tested, I'll be forward testing it this week.

Yeah because I see people talking about compounding and how x dollars is going to turn into y dollars, as if they're going to be increasing their lots every day. If they're increasing their lots everyday then there's something seriously wrong and ...

I don't think any of these self-help type of approaches will work in making a trader profitable. Mastering yourself or whatever other emotional improvement isn't going to do anything if you don't have a working strategy to begin with. These ...

There is actually one post by a user on ForexFactory that I've found to be a "Holy Grail," for my purpose anyway. There is useful information here for sure but you just have to weed through all the posts by the Newbs.

You mean 3% per day as in, 3% of the initial deposit or 3% of yesterday's balance or equity? You must be meaning 3% of the initial deposit. And if that's the case, you wouldn't compound every day. You would compound once you've obtained 100% of ...

If anyone is losing, the only reason would be that they don't have a working strategy. If one has a working strategy then, they would win.

Because most traders around the world are using the same technical analysis tools which creates a pattern. When something is no longer random, it can be predicted. Here's a quick example of price heading to 1.59067 next week with obvious ...

That's not going to work. Just trying to help.

I think a much more practical approach to eventually eliminating nonsense on the forums is to simply follow a rule of ignoring (or not responding to) any poster that makes claims AND doesn't have a myfxbook showing a (real) account.

You rejected it because you know it wouldn't work to make real money. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense why you only run it on demo. Try it on a live account and show us that. That would impress us much more

It's nearly impossible not to make substantial money if you're trading with 200K. Try making a decent percentage off of a $2000 account and you'll have my respect. 20K profit on a 200K account is not really impressive. Anyway, you're lucky that you ...

Your EA either doesn't run on a live account or it is so high risk that you won't even risk $10 of your own money on a live account. My guess is, it doesn't function the same in a live environment. But, I'm sure it's not going to stop some sucker ...

I'm not certain but I believe if it's a managed account then you can request and specify how much spread markup you want.

I would say 99.99% of the content on this entire forum is non-sense. You're going to drive yourself mad reminding others to follow thread rules.
