Bassramy, I've been swamped with work and I finally updated my charts with the 56 period TMASlopeMTF you posted here url But, it still is showing the 20 period slopes. I have 2 identical charts open and confirmed this using an indicator that I can ...

Regarding TMA Slope MTF... I'd love to have it changed to 56. I find it very helpful but like you I prefer the 56 period length.

Can anyone confirm for me that "TMA Slope MTF" is hard coded for a TMA period of 20? I'm wanting to go back to a period of 56, but I cant get TMA Slope MTF to agree with my 56 period slopes.

Al, Have you stopped using the coral? I suppose so, since I don't see it anymore, but I just wanted to make sure
- odellcash replied Aug 27, 2012
Well I guess because I'm seeing things that don't match, like the time period for each TMA slope on the chart (which are set to 56). I'm currently using THV4Info panel and its slopes do not match the new indicators that I did in fact attach manually. ...

Do we also need to change to time period of each of our "ExtremeTMALine" lines? They each have a TMA period of 56.

I'm not seeing the new indicators in the template included with the packet on post 1.

I wasn't picking apart your style, it was really just a question in general about rule #3. Can anyone using the rules as posted on page #1 (ie 15M, 1H and 4h) tell me if Rule is supposed to apply at the same time as all slopes being ranging. I've ...

Am I to understand the price being above or below the 3 time frames (Entry Rule #3) is only a trigger? Waiting for slopes to across the 0.4 line, much less the zero line, the price wold have moved down well below the 15M and probably the 1 hour band. ...

It would appear that both AUDUSD and USDCAD gave valid signals for a recovery entry. Anyone else see and/or take these entries?
- odellcash replied Aug 7, 2012
I think a lot of us are in AUDUSD and USDCAD and waiting patiently. I guess that would explain how quiet its been this week. +1 on proper position size, there's nothing better than being able to calmly wait this trade out, and absolutely the key ...

Wow, what a simple eye opening post! So glad you are back Al. I've had really good success for the past 2 months, but most of my trades went against me at first (50-100 pips) before coming around. I knew I was getting in too soon, but was struggling ...

Great points. Perhaps one compromise between SL vs. Recovery would be to use a SL if you enter a counter-trend trade that goes against you, and Recovery for trades with the trend.

Thanks for sharing that. Even after using the TMA Slope Indicator for several months, this was a really good read.

What indicators need to be running for this to work?
