What did they do to you jdieieh? Tell us
- jsk3010 replied Sep 18, 2017
But they can fleece you with slippage anyway if you're using c-trader so there is no way to win?

The spreads are lower than that of mt4, by at least 1.5x. The spread works out a lot cheaper than that of trading on ctrader with it's spread + commission. Not sure why uk customers would use any other platform for those reasons alone. A big problem ...

Lianna, a completely separate topic. Would you be willing to discuss your new platform - FxPro Edge? There is very limited information available on it. Compared to your other platform options the cost of trading seems too 'cheap'. I am wondering how ...

Lianna I think I have cleared up what I was missing here, ignore my last post. Many thanks

After doing a bit of research I am pretty sure a stop loss can only be a market/instant order or a limit order, seeing as though a stop loss will always be behind price. A take profit therefore can only be either a market/instant order or a stop ...

Thought I'd add that if your Take profit is a buy stop/sell stop, then would I be correct in saying that negative slippage would give you a better price for your take profit?
- jsk3010 replied Sep 15, 2017
Ok thankyou for that Lianna, it's a bit confusing as there is a comma, which to me reads, 'Slippage and positive slippage'. So to summarize, I take it that the only orders that will be effected by negative slippage on this account would be buy stops ...

Lianna, this screenshot of information from fxpro's website says different unless I'm interpreting it wrong. All pending orders seem to be effected by slippage, whether it's negative or positive.

Thanks for replying Lianna. Would I be able to avoid such slippage using an instant execution account rather than a market execution account? Thanks

Thats insane, you cannot expect clients to put up with a 200+pip slippage. Is there any option to limit the amount of slippage on a stop order before you do no longer want to take the trade...?

Hello, too long since I posted but here's a pic of the oil move today. Had limit order set at the 4hr zone but the acc never had sufficient margin at the time of triggering due to being in another trade. I got in on a pullback. This is a 1 hour ...

C-trader gets my vote, Really neat interface, the drawing tools are very clean and enable you get be very accurate on your charts with rectangles/trendlines etc... important for me being a supply and demand trader for drawing zones. More timeframe ...

I couldn't resist so I'm back in it tonight, in on the 15 with enough profit margin. Fingers crossed.

A trade I took about a week ago on the EURCAD. It has good points and bad points but it ended a winner. Please criticize as it will help me to see the good and bad. Apologies for the clarity I am switching to mt4 soon as ctrader can get cluttered.

Ok, here I have posted the M/W/D and 4hr charts I have. The charts can get cramped as c-trader doesn't have a multiple timeframe chart layout and everything goes on the one chart!

A trade I took yesterday on the AUD/USD. Trading sequence M/W/D, entry refined to 4hr

that worked out well for you conom. I had the same pending except I never included the lower wick as part of the 4 hr zone, so I missed the trigger by about 6 pips. It was a tough zone to draw I found. Good job
