Seriously mate, you just got stopped out of USDCAD and you're re-entering the same trade immediately with a higher stop with a multi-week target. Plus all the pain you had in GBPNZD. It sounds like you're trying to get revenge on the market and need ...

lmao. the ny session has been this way for a very long time.... best move to singapore so you get all the asia open, london open, and ny-london overlap during waking hours. in ny, you have to work night shift to be effective at fx. at least that's ...

May have to revisit some longs here after all... could break the upside on the minutes...

We're probably headed higher here at some point, the timing is tricky. I don't trade NZD though as it uses up too much margin. If I were trading I'd prefer to get in closer to 1.99 than 2. GL

Anytime for me I hear people say bounce or break, especially in a quiet market I always just cover. Because almost all of the time "bounce or break" means bounce 3 times to varying degrees maybe even .5%+ away and then maybe break once (or miss). ...

Too many people looking at 1.667x. If you buy at 0x you probably won't be buying the local highs, but we also may not just go all the way back to 1.68. 1.67 isn't going to crack in a straightforward way. however. The last 10 pips, and in this case, ...

Statng the obvious... attempting to crack resistance at 102, likely a buy instead of a sell in the very near term ... but perhaps a bit late to the party... Neither UJ nor AU went anywhere during NY session today with AJ stuck at 92 with possibly a ...

Don't think this level is going to break in a linear way given that we are already in NY afternoon and it has not yet, could be a waste of pips. Just my sense.

Since when do long-term investors dictate long-term price action? Most active asset managers can't beat the S&P, and in my experience real money often consistently catches tops and bottoms on the wrong side. The JPY being a limited exception since ...

Well as I said a while ago, I have no strong view at this point until 4H clears up more. We've had some good directional moves in both directions. We're due for a bit of choppiness and whatnot. I doubt this is either the high or the low we'll see in ...

A month ago you were the biggest EUR bull right around when EUR was cracking the daily trendline in mid January. What happened to change your mind?

Yeah but you're assuming that the trader sucks at picking spots. I think if you pick your spots correctly you can get it right a lot more than that. However, this is probably not one of them. IMO
- eurusd_trade replied Feb 17, 2014
Well you have to pick your spots. As I said, this isn't a spot I would personally pick to go long (at least not yet, for a bunch of other reasons as well) but if you only need to be right 1 in 10 times it's hard to criticize.

I actually quite like PTL's style although it's not for me (maybe some of the time), but typically he takes a trade pretty much right at the support or resistance that's being defended and has a big reward/risk that the support or resistance gets ...

Update... with the intraday trendline broken in the London session and the US holiday we're not seeing much new activity. If there was a case for being neutral with a slight bullish bias at Friday's close Sunday's gap open higher took away any ...
