Some big (scary?) gaps on charts today, the normal way of thinking with a gap is that the market will close it and resume normal trading conditions... so far we are not seeing that at all. just to highlight things I have a chart of the AUS/USD that ...

Haha thats very kind of you . What I would say is that Cornflower really works with "The trend is your friend" way of thinking so with that in mind longer time frames are good value too. I don't like trading unless the EMA's are set up and ...

That's true of most systems ...the great thing about Cornflower is it helps to show the type of market we are in if you are a person who is having a hard time understanding/seeing where things are at , I have seen a few good ideas about markets ...

I have been watching the USD/JPY this morning and would like to post 2 charts, the first one is 5 minutes before the close of the candle and the 2nd chart is just after the hour rolled over and a new hot candle is formed. It really show a great ...

Hi Chace, I don't want to get to self indulgent and give everyone my life story but yes I have been trading Cornflower for a long time. As I talked about above there are times when it seems like nothing is doing and no trades are able to be taken, I ...

Chace, I don't know how may pairs you follow but it can be worthwhile looking at some extra pairs. There are two theories about this that are applicable to any type of trading... 1. Trade only 1 pair until you are very good at it, know the pair ...

I can't see any good setups right now during the euro open so I thought I might just indulge myself and give a point or two I feel are important to keep in mind when trading. First thing is that I try not to chase trades I wait for them to come to ...

Hi Chace, I don't follow the GBP/JPY so I wont comment on that pair. I have taken a 1 hour chat of the USD/JPY and blacked out all the candles after the hammer in question (I'm no artist ) to give a better picture of what you might have been ...

Bounce on the 24 Edit: Price has run down to the pivot.
- bob_inabottle replied Sep 4, 2013
Hi Chace In this trade when I saw price move into the range around the 24 and the pivot I dropped down to the 15min chart, I have placed a yellow arrow above the candle I used for confirmation. I would not go any lower than 15 min myself but I do ...

Its been a while between posts so I thought I might throw up a chart of a trade I just took, I don't normally trade this pair but it has set up pretty well, nice bounce and runaway from the 24 along with also having the pivot just above. I was able ...

Rescator, Two things I think have been helping me out 1) Extra volatility during the 1st hour that the market opens. 2) In general the 170 would be already in the direction of the trade, then the 34 and RSI cross (along with good price action) to ...

Took to trades today on the EUR/USD, 1st for +20 pips... my plan was just to hang around for the it reach a 10 pip profit but it got a run on so I just let it go, I felt I had already waited around that long anyway. 2nd was for +5, time was really ...

I can see why many people think it's a not worth any effort, that said I did have a little crack at it today. I will point out that i'm not a scalper and didn't use (and don't have) the trend indi, I also only wanted to trade the first hour of the ...

Esser, I quote Tedster above, the answer to your question should be in there

Hi Kara, What do you want to know? There really is nothing much more to talk about with Cornflower, the answers are in the thread. It works, makes money but just not as fast as most people would like. Great for keeping you in a trend and useful as a ...

Well I missed out on trading yesterday but made up for that just now. Had to use a bigger stop than normal thus the take profit was larger too... but none of that matted as it climbed up pretty quickly!

Funny you should ask that, right at the time I was putting the trade on price shot up over the level I was going to place my stop. I ended up setting a pretty large stop (compared to other I have set with this system) and as it's worked out price ...
