My dog gets some funny looks with his sign, might need to change that one before the next div trade if I'm to have any cash to trade with.

From someone who has spent decades exploring all manner of logical approaches, some simple and some very complex, I can assure you this is sure fire way to lose money (from what I understand of your point above). There's nothing wrong with exploring ...

Hello Vinesh, not sure what you are asking, you can open trades at the exact same level long and short but you'll be down the spread and nothing else will happen, it's what you do after you open the trades that matters.

I try and think of of it as money I need to wait a bit longer to get my hands on rather than a loss, and a lesson learned (if there is one). Think I'll put that on my cardboard sign when begging on the underground.

Yep have access to an IG chart but trade live with Oanda so will reference that if I'm lucky enough to be able to going forward, I can mirror the trade on Oanda's UK100 which is is their "Fisher Price" version of the FTSE as far as I can see.

My Oanda UK100 chart (1 min) looks like this at 4.30pm UK (assuming I've got the timings right). Seems odd/sinister they can invent candles which don't exist on other's charts but I may not have my facts right on this? Suppose I could trade long ...

These positions are great for the conspiracy theorists, evidence indeed it's all rigged against us , personally I believe it's what daily, weekly and monthly charts are designed for (get out of jail), and why I'm generally positive swap (at ...

Had a comment from someone who's using the EAs I posted a little while back, seems they aren't suitable as they went into DD for a while this week. I appreciate the "valley of despair" element of longer term trading, with this style, isn't for ...

No joke, I actually ordered moules mariniere yesterday for lunch, I'm sure the markets will reflect all of this after the weekend . Off to golf now, was going in the Bugatti but it’s broken down so I'll take the van.

Damn right, on another note, one of my favourite quotes from The Big Short: The truth is like poetry, and most people f@~king hate poetry.

No one who currently holds a FR40 trade is allowed to leave the thread until their positions are closed at BE or better, I've invested in too many French products in an effort to help. Do you think I like walking around all day in these French ...

Ld has some valid points but a lot of this just highlights the paralysis we find ourselves in should we only trade on relative certainty. My basic EAs (for example) have produced a 20% profit in 30 weeks after 1000s of trades but it would be naive ...

I’m using MT4 for the EA experiment, same for live trading or my phone.
