I don't believe this indicator repaints though. It simply plots the indicator 1 bar later than what is shown on the charts. Once it's plotted, it doesn't move.

Does anyone here know if it's possible to export indicator data from MT4 to a text or CSV file that ...

I already explained to you his strategy. When asked to quantify his methodology in simple terms, it could not be done. There was nothing mechanical about it and was completely visual. He is a tape reader, which is something most retail forex trader ...

Not really. Backtesting is an important step in system development. If it doesn't work at all in the past, why would you expect it to work in the future? Past performance may not be indicative of future results, but it still must be used as a ...

The arrow won't show up until the close of the following bar. Just look at the ADX indicator to see where they cross. That will tell you where the arrows should be. I never found ADX to be of much value anyway. Far too lagging.

Paul Rotter is only one trader who happens to be profitable. The guys who are making large consistent profits keep their names out of the headlines and don't always run hedge funds. I personally know a trader who has averaged 20pts per day on the ...

I find it funny that people often cite this as de facto proof that nobody could generate these types of returns on a consistent basis. However, your logic is flawed. There are traders out there who are capable of 250% returns in 7 weeks on a SMALL ...

I was asked by another member to post the graph. I can't go into more details, sorry. Live results have matched the backtest results so that answers your questions regarding spreads and slippage. They were factored into the backtest. The equity ...

$10k to $1.8 mil in 4 months. But forward results have matched backtest results. Makes about $62 mil in a 1 year backtest.

I think you need to do more research. Even with Renko charts, you still set a time frame. A bar is not formed until the bar closes on that time frame AND price moves X number of pips in ONE direction. With range bars, price can move X number of pips ...

It's nothing like renko. Renko charts are still time based, and it only forms a bar when price goes X number of pips in only one direction.

As someone mentioned before, range bars have nothing to do with a Hull moving average. I've been looking for a way to get range bars in MT4 for a while, but I don't know where to begin coding something like that. I've been told by MT's programmers ...

I can do it fairly consistently on EUR/USD. Here's an equity curve for the last six months. Live results are just as impressive.
