Pivots are old school, I use them. I watched so many podcast regards trading and I never ever hear for someone who use them if you are talking about new gen of traders.

This is actually true, most of the folks are lost, my favorite way to detect trend is MA200. No matter which time frame you use, just attach MA200 and you are good to go.
