Can somebody explain how is it possible to have 0 spread? If you have bid and ask at the same exact price, why those orders are not automatically matched by LMAX exchange?

No expectations, just doing research. Can not say I would like to earn spread, just to possibly reduce trading costs while earning at least part of the spread (using API to update order when market moves). Well I guess it is too much to ask at this ...

If LMAX is real exchange (like stocks etc.), if you place a bid within a spread, price stays the same, but somebody makes market order to sell, my limit order to buy will get filled, even though market price itself did not move in itself (well it ...

hey guys. Few questions regarding LMAX. Why is it that their order book shown in main page of their site always show orderbook with order sizes which are increments of 5 or even of 50 (most of the time it looks like 150 or 100 or 50 or 75 etc.) ...
