Hey all Very interested in the Turtles group. Been trading Ichimoku since November last year and following this thread since a while before that. Trading for a couple of years. I trade ichi full time 5 days a week, all day and am totally committed ...

Like the look of GJ sell.

Like the look of GJ buy, nice chart patterns forming, its stuck to the flat top of the kumo atm, hopefully will break it in the next hour or two.

Can someone just explain how the ichi360 indicator works? What does it check when it shows you an entry?

One other little thing that may be useful is to include an alert for when the cspan gets into a certain range of the kumo/bounces off the kumo.

GU looks ok, I entered when the hourly closed beneath the kumo and the H4 pierced the kumo. Daily is nicely in accordance with some bearish price action over the last few days. Had a bit of a retrace, obviously the flat bottom of the kumo doing as ...

love it.

I just draw a trend line connecting the troughs (in a buy trend) or the peaks (in a sell trend) and wait for the CSPAN to cut through it signalling a possible end of trend. Its exactly as lb mentioned about 10 pages back. I cant post a chart right ...

Many thanks again to lbtrader for his cspan trendline technique posted a while back, drawn it onto this GBPCHF bull and its looking sweet. Market is reacting to it a dream. Watching for a definate break down through it to signal closing some of it ...

Exactly the same situation. Very good call. Impressed. Hoping recognising these situations will come with experience, and obviously a more careful eye on the past daily chart price action.

Im both of these, not looking too pretty. hopefully tomorrow will bring some volume to give them the strength to push them down, its been nothing but sideways today. GBPHF is doing much better though Any particular reason why you think yen pairs ...

Thanks for that, your a life saver. As mentioned some great examples. Seems like an awesome tool for helping determine an exit when you know the trend is coming to an end. Am definitely going to look out for this one. Cheers

Hey Lb, fantastic post. I was wondering about exactly the same thing today when the EJ and GJ trades were coming to an end. Still fantastic profit but felt like too much was given back to the market just looking to exit on the span b. I'd really ...

Thats cool, I usually wait for the market to be completely clear of the daily kumo and have closed outside it before I start considering trades. Safer

Could we take a sell on the GU if it continues down now? Broken out of the hourly, nearly out of the daily
- carsomyr replied Dec 10, 2009
I'm in it, got in on that nice retrace after it broke the kumo. Looks primed for a nice break out if you ask me

Hey Steve What indicator do you use to show just one arrow, the daily trend one on the hourly chart? Thanks

Would also like to know Same situation. Much preferring trading off the higher timeframes
- carsomyr replied Nov 30, 2009
Quick question. There were a couple of possible positions this morning however almost all of them had the hourly within the kumo. Personally I wouldn't trade this as I wait for all of the TF's to be on the correct side of the kumo before entering on ...
