Excellent advice. I have done that with other indicators. With TMS I am still in the exploratory/QA/Debug mode attempting to learn the fundamentals, whilst discerning the wheat from the chaff. Albeit with mistakes along the way. Psychologically I ...

For the record "TDI-RT-Clone" fits exactly what I needed. Xaphod's code is clean and professional.

Again - my mistake for using the indicators from the start of this thread and not sorting thru the myriad of variations that have since been created. Appreciate the feedback.

..... re: Note: There are versions out there that works both as a sole indicator and as an input indicator (with or without property strict) as long it satisfy the parameters they need on both side of intended use. V2V Appreciated - that will save ...

Well - since you brought it up.... I found the exact same issue with the TDI indicator as with the Synergy HA / APB Candles. In very simple terms the code has a inherent flaw which causes it to error out somewhat randomly. My non-scientific limited ...

No wonder I got it wrong. I don't feel so bad now.

Emm, I follow your PAC logic on AUDUSD & GBPCAD. However Re: NZDUSD seems like we are late to the party on that one, but obviously I am missing something, can you elaborate? This is what my screen looks like. Thank you.

Per request - I have attached the modified indicator. To make the fix I used the default HeikenAshi indicator code that comes with the MT4 platform. I added 1 line of code to convert the HA algorithm to the APB algorithm. They are very similar, but ...

As mentioned, I have already fixed the issue, I was really more curious if anyone else had come across the issue. For an indicator that has been around for so long and is so widely used for TMS, I was surprised to find the error.

Agreed. And that is how I resolved the issue for my program. However an additional point of contention is that the indicator by itself has a flaw. Under certain circumstances, it is trying to access Candle Bar [-1]. Hence the "array out of range" ...

As the Synergy APB indicator is utilized so heavily with the TMS trading philosophy as the replacement for HA candles I have question for those that program. I have found an anomaly with the indicator that has caused me to not trust the results ...

I Agree with Malony and, just for discussion - I am going to suggest that you needed to pay attention to known high profile news events. Timeline: Late afternoon Europe: Brexit gets signed Next morning AM Asia: Tokyo is Open and GBP drops like a ...

Yes - it was disconcerting when my chart was not matching up with others that I was seeing, hence I needed to understand if it made a difference or not. Same study/comparison can be made with the D1 candle start time as those candles will look ...

Emm - Thank you for validating my premise. My own conclusion concurs: trade relative to the chart data that you are working with. That said, a slight preference to allowing the noise of the LO subside, therefore a new H4 candle at the start of the ...

Still trying to determine if there is a better or worse "Broker Time" relative to the London Session. I will illustrate with a couple of pictures. As you can see depending on the "Broker Time" the PA candles can look very different at the same "GMT ...

Is EURCHF included in your Big Picture Groupings? or is this strictly an "on the side" trade?

Okoso - My Broker time is is New York. So my H4 candle does not close for another 3+ hours..... let me know how it goes.
- Kopan replied Mar 20, 2017
The basis of my question was actually more focused on when the H4 bar "Closes" and forms a New Bar, relative to when London "Opens". If the H4 bar closes shortly "before" London Opens, then you will have to wait a couple of hours into the session ...

For TMS - is there a preferred "Broker" time for the start of H4 and Daily candles? (GMT+5), (GMT-2), or GMT ?????
