I wouldn't bother with bank holidays, I stayed out of the UK one and didn't even look at a chart for the day :-)

Set your orders at the close of the 09:00 NY candle, so when the 09:15 candle becomes visable. ele, please see the post above yours for the mq4 indicator.

Knez, It really is confusing I know but my timings are ALL correct; New York = 07:00 - 09:00 GMT +1 = 12:00 - 14:00 My platform is GMT +2 = 13:00 - 15:00 (Yours may be different)

In London, where I am its 13:41, in New York it is 08:41. Check the world clock websites, we are on daylight savings +1 hour.

Yup, That's 12:00 - 14:00 GMT (13:00 - 15:00 GMT on my platform).

Can anyone create a strategy tester for this to backtest? I have no idea how to do it and as it took me about 2 hours to work out how to make the small changes to the indicator I posted a while back this would probably take me several weeks. :-)

knez, My platform is one hour ahead of GMT as explained in the brackets. I trade the un-bracketed times as true GMT. Cheers,

1st September trades using this strategy. One wasn't filled as I didn't have enough cash to cover the open positions but would have been a winner and the other non filler I set to expire.

Today's trades; 5 winners and 5 losers. 4 of the 5 losers had a stop on of 150pips (15 pips) as I was trying to reduce my risk. Had I stuck to my original 300pip (30 pip) stop I would have had one extra winner @ 150pips (15) but lost an extra 450 ...

Quick update on testing for me today. 13 trades, 11 wins using a 300/150 pip sl (30/15 pip in 4 digit) and 150 pip TP (15 pip). I trade 4 pairs; EUR/USD GBP/JPY GBP/USD USD/CAD Trades are placed in both directions and left until I feel one direction ...
