Wild guess #1: you're using Windows. Wild guess #2: you're using a laptop. Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type in "scaling". If I'm right, you might see "150% (Recommended)". Change that value to "100%". image

This is art. Do minor pullbacks (like the one from 1.31045 to 1.30942, 14:59-15:02) shake you out? When I manage to have great entries like that, I always get scared price is going to reverse and I might lose my profits, so I cut it after a ...

Wyckoff theory. UTAD = Up-Thrust After Distribution. A liquidity hunt, a spike up before falling down.

Whenever price changes (by a 1/10th of a pip), it's called a tick. Whenever a tick is created, volume goes up by 1. Edit : If price jumps in one tick by more than a 1/10th of a pip, volume still only goes up by 1.

I understand the sentiment. But more often than not, I don't know what color the light is until I've been fined.

You're expecting a jump to liquidity zone around 1.3705, and from standard chart analysis, I agree with you. I'd expect price to find liquidity there and then crash. What's bothering me is that Georginson's analysis often mentions 1.3686 (projected ...

Yesterday, NY opened at 1.3583 and closed at 1.3582. Does your rule apply in this instance?

I think we're going to see 1.358 or above before your target. I hope your SL can sustain a liquidity hunt!

Congrats on the trade! Greed / not setting realistic TP is what I'm struggling with. I hope to fix those issues soon!

Beautiful. Edit : TP is a bit below 1.377

Thank you. I saw one bearish 50% fib (see my previous post), but exited my position after all the bounces, didn't see a reason price would keep going lower, but with my latest analysis and Georginson's view, my bias is still bearish

Trying my hand at Wyckoff, because it seemed like a textbook Wyckoff example. Entered a bit earlier thinking that previous high was the UT/AD. Had a bit of drawdown with that position, but felt confident with my initial analysis and wanted to see ...

That 1.3800 spike is both a round number and a 0.5 fib retracement (from 1.3841 to 1.3765). Will wait for further confirmation, but I think it's a safe spot to resume selling into the trend

I apologize if I misunderstood, but from what I've gathered, he has an algo setting and moving his SL based on recent ATR (usually 1.5x). When the ATR goes up, his SL goes further away from his entry point. When the ATR goes down, his SL goes closer ...

Indeed, those last 15 minutes completely busted my plan.

I'm utterly impressed by how accurate your market understanding has been these past few weeks. Really remarkable. Green pips to you!

Hindsight is 20/20 but that "trouble area" (1.3818) also falls on a 0.236 fib retracement (mapped from September 1st's Low to today's High). I should pay more attention to such confluence levels.

Now this is the kind of educational content that I find really helpful. I've been lurking for a while now and through your charts you've taught me what to look for in a trade and how to execute on it. Thank you for that.
