This is going to increase the the distance between America as the largest oil producer and the next two producers, Saudi Arabia and Russia. Investors would want to invest in oil companies drilling in America where it is secure from any conflict.

Yes crazy spikes and yes that’s the only aspect I can agree with when they say high leverage is dangerous. However, people can over trade themselves using low leverage too. So the conclusion is - If someone don’t know how to trade, they will lose anyway.

I heard them talking a lot about something called Money Management. That’s interesting

Central bank (rate) decisions, drone attack on Saudi... ETC.. do have DIRECT impact... Also read again, "if not sure"... If you are... GO... Hope you are satisfied... If not, I am sorry... Not saying I am right btw! Just saying the fact of my own trading of 10years...

Yeah, there is always something but some news are HIGHEST-impact, DIRECT movers... See now, market already showing OIL SPIKED, GOLD spiked... at "open".. and not "fully open" yet...

And not saying never ever trade.. (I) just avoid some highest impact news... if/when not sure.. And it is just my opinion... you do what you want...

Mate I am a fullltime trader and to me no trading means no profits and no incomes. Besides, the things, you talking about, create volatility and that is a good thing for the profitable traders.
Anyways thanks for the advice and you might be right addressing your concerns to the ones trading very short time frames or to the ones following fundamentals only.

We will see the bigger picture when all markets open and what will happen by the end of the week... There were rather strong SOUTH views (before), for oil, until this pelham123? happened on the weekend (do you remember when USA was downgraded from AAA during the weekend, back in the day some brokers, oanda, were somewhat open (at 10PIP spread)... man it cracked, they closed the weekend trading not long after, haven't gone back since

But back to not trading... I have been watching some (controlling) parameter that is very, if not the most important parameter of my price prediction model.... and due do it being low-mid... I was holding myself back.. also at some highest impact news (not always)...

But glad to say that it seems the parameter will be at almost full capacity in about a day.. and I may just "override" some news alerts, will see.. maybe will still avoid just highest ones... or just ran over them and check the possible outliers in retrospect, at analysis...

This week there is rate cut talk again, by FED, nightmare... But I am tired of those fed/ecb stall weeks... Might just trade through and not caring since it seems the main parameter is coming back after a long long time... BTW, I believe that this is THE SEASON, 15SEP-15DEC... when this "when not to trade" is much less pondered (in my book) than in say, SUMMER, when I would prefer not to trade at all
