I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House

Yep. I wasn't happy when Trump brought in Bolton, because like you say he's always been a warmonger. Of course I knew if anyone could keep him under control, Trump could. I mean just use Bolton for his vast knowledge-base, but NOT really use any of his "advice". And that's what Trump has done, it seems. But there was still the problem of Bolton running his mouth at times... even THAT had the potential to mess things up. Whether it be bringing about war with Iran (though yes, Iran's leaders are scumbags), or making it tougher for Trump and Putin to work together on some problems, to threatening to blow up the relationship between Trump and Kim Un.... I always worried about Bolton being in the background.

So yeah, he's gone... GOOD.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

It's interesting though, not like the other few previous US presidents who used or were persuaded/demanded/forced to use force and were the banner-men of several military 'interventions' over last three decades in the name of... (you name it), he so far chose not to do the same.
That doesn't mean he is not 'fighting' but I think he is more comfortable on his own territory which is 'business'.
Perhaps we should look at his actions this way.
Previous presidents or the people behind them used military assets to enforce agendas on others.
It seems he chose to use other means before that.
Non conformity with other G7 members on global trade, tariff-shake-out with China, EU and others, puling out military from Syria and as I hear from Afghanistan... Blocking institutions/countries who trade with those that come in disagreement with US agenda...Turkey and Iran are great examples of actions used.

I have to say I neither dislike or like any of it.
