SBU busts cryptocurrency miners at Ukrainian power plant

SBU detectives during a warranted search have discovered unauthorized computer equipment installed at the Yuzhoukrainska Nuclear Power Plant, which was used for cryptocurrency mining. The equipment was connected to the World Wide Web, which posed a significant threat to cybersecurity at the nuclear site. The local court said classified information regarding the system of the NPP's physical protection had been leaked as a result of the said online connection.
