As sad as it is , war is all about the ability to withstand universal pain across the whole spectrum of society - on a civilian, humanitarian and infrastructure level .

Ideologies have a high threshold tolerance as do certain Asian cultures . In war you can only raise the bar to a certain level with aggression .

Western cultures are indoctrinated to conform to the humanitarian aspect , hence why bombing achieves the opposite effect with the opposition and its own society .
