It's a game of chicken that TACO won't win. The Iranian regime is hardened af and will probably fight to the last man. The Real Estate developers (lol) Trump has sent to negotiate are probably talking to opportunists and not to the IRGC. And that is who is pulling the trigger. The whole exercise is an example of the limitations of air power. Trump can bomb all the power plants and all the bridges in Iran and there will still be guys that stumble out of a cave somewhere and shoot drones at oil tankers in the SoH. Trump will not be allowed to use nuclear weapons and kill millions of Iranian civilians and poison the entire neighborhood. Although there are insane, genocidal fanatics in Israel and the Pentagon who would love that.

With a million men under arms, Iran could start throwing suicide squads at the cushy seats of power in the region. And further abroad. They could sabotage the oil/gas infrastructure in the various complicit kingdoms. The entire middle east petrochemical production could be shut down for months or years. The US could be dragged into a regional conflict, with American boots on the ground across the entire area. Team Trump 2.0 is lying about casualties, but they won't be able to lie when the numbers get into the 100's or 1000's. Like all of America's hegemoniacal World Police excursions in the last many decades, a wider war in Iran would be lost at home.

Prepare for that 4200$ I mentioned folks! Let's see if we can have a daily close above it. Next station is slightly below 4500$. It's also probably the final station (resistance) at which the train could fly off the rails causing the price to fall below 3800$ marking the final low in the price of gold. If not, then we had our low on gold, but let's take things slowly and see how they develop...
